Went through the schedule today at the box. Put me down for 17-13. Really need to sweep Mizzou next weekend. I don't see any other likely sweeps.

Mizzou 3-0
At Texas 1-2
State 2-1
At OU 1-2
At Auburn 2-1
Bama 2-1
Tenn 1-2
At A&M 1-2
Arky 2-1
At SCar 2-1

I think we take 2 in both the Texass and OU series. I think we finish strong, going 7-2 in the last 3 series. We’ll stumble somewhere in the middle, but we’ll finish with 18-19 wins.

Lots of variation in these responses. Goes to show that we really still have no idea what we have.
I think this team has a really high floor with all the depth which will keep us out of slumps and help us withstand any injuries but I'm not sure the ceiling is there this year. I do think the catcher position will directly result in at least one loss like it did last year. Im gonna go with 16-14 but I do think there's a good chance we end up better than that. Some of the freshmen will have to make some huge strides for us to raise that ceiling (Williams, Arrambide, Rizy). But I can't see any scenario where this team finishes SEC play with a losing record.

16. Good bats and fielding. Not yet confident that pitching is on the same level overall. Lot of young players--talented, but inexperience still shows up at times, usually the worst times.

The better question is how many will it take to lock in a national seed?

Side note - I think its pivotal we start out SEC Play this weekend with a bang. Need to sweep a pretty poor Missouri team. They might be in the running for one of the worst baseball teams in the SEC this year.

17 IMO does it. That’s a top 6 finish in the SEC every year and SEC will likely get that many national seeds

Probably 17. 16 might even do it.

They're not in the running for one of the worst baseball teams in the SEC this year. They're in the running for one of the worst baseball teams in the SEC this decade.
