Oh, I thought it was Mal Moore that said that. Oops, my bad

Is that the same Mal Moore that hired the guy that said "Screw you, I'm outta here." to LSU?

They one thing all of those people have in common is that they competed and control over winning and losing. When you compete you need that mentality, when you are a fan it just leads to madness.

Very well stated.

Only problem with ur logic is that we finished last season with the best record in football. We had more "wins" than the team that finished first. So according to guys like tiger woods, we had a good season and we won more games than everyone else.

Correction ... it was Reese Bobby (Ricky's Dad). And if you recall, he admits he was high when he said that. Much like the fans who have the "NC or bust" mentality.

It's not NC or bust for me. It's two simple things:

1) watching those bastards in Alabama enjoy a dynasty in the middle of what's supposed to be LSU's football golden age. And yes I've hated Alabama long before Saban was there.
2) our offense makes the games unfun to watch.

This year featured both of these issues.

I bet you don't apply that same standard in your personal life.

Seriously? Do you really believe every team that doesn't win the BCSNC is mediocre?

Which happened because your hero flipped LSU off.

20 of the top 25 BCS teams won 10 games as of the December 2nd BCS poll. Winning 10 games isn't what it used to be. The only thing holding LSU back the last few years is a consistent offense. They have been very close. Those opportunities are blown now. More opportunities will come around and more will be blown unless the offensive problems are fixed.

Not sure anyone is really arguing that LSU has blown some opportunities and needs to fix the offense. But what does that have to do with the "NC or Bust" mentaltiy? LSU could very well fix their offensive woes, win 12 games and still not win a NC. Does that make the season a total failure?

You really wanna be like the Bama fans huh?

I guess our fanbase basically is like that, we basically have all the irrationality with an inferiority complex thrown in.
