Tell that to the 100 teams that failed to win 10.

your program appears headed for the shitter.

Perception is everything.

If you think a program that is 21-5 in the SEC since 2010 is headed for the shitter because it loss a bowl game, then my perception of you is that you are a fool.

+1

I really do not understand how so many people continue to muddle the waters simply to defend Miles.

a) it is not about the record or the NC game...
it is about our coaches coaching and doing what they get paid for.

Many still do not want to accept Jan 9th fiasco..
it was not the loss, it was the way we lost.

It is not the record in the season, but whether we did our best... few can argue that coaching lost us the AL game, the Clemson game and possibly the FL game since our coaching staff had accepted the "we are winning" so why coach mentality. After the FL game they woke up, they were being paid before the game, they should have coached before the game as well.

If we do not have the talent and we play at 100% of our ability, then we must live with the record until talent comes....but, when we have the talent, and are not playing to our ability... a 10 win record is not acceptable. We are paying 4MM a year.

Incorrect.

Before Miles got his raise to 4.25M, he was at 3.75M.

Which when you look at what other top programs are paying their coaches, isn't as outrageaous as your ilk continue to trumpet.

You are blaming the loss to Bama on Miles? Wow.
Clemson - Our OL couldn't block anyone all night long. If Mett hits a WR that is open for days we win the game.
Florida - How exactly did coaching lose that game for us again?

Oh, so I guess they weren't coaching when we beat Washington 41-3 and Idaho 63-14. I guess you don't give credit for coaching wins, just bash coaches for losses. Typical for the rantard.

Oh yeah, definite rantard. LSU has more talent than everyone else in the country. EVERY YEAR.

Kirk Ferentz at Iowa makes 3.9 million bucks a year and they went 4-8 and didn't even go to a bowl game, Mr. Unacceptable.

Overall, horrible post with 0 valid points.

10 games = tduecen happy

Get a raise = Miles happy

That is our process.

My 2nd favorite rantard misperception is that Miles is some overpaid bum, when in fact his salary(even after his raise) is only above average.

Which brings me to my next point that LSU fans aren't "really paying for championships" as they so claim.

That's the sad part. I KNOW LSU won't win every game, bit PLEASE LES, Quit WASTING the talent on offense just cause you still live with a BIG-TEN mentality. There is ZERO imagination with the talent you have. This O should average 40 ppg with the O talent here.

Yes. Despite what many rantards claim, this is their REAl beef with the man. Mostly because he's not Saban.

Name one 5 Star on this offense. Go ahead ill wait. CFB isn about having some offensive plays no one has seen. It's about EXECUTING THE PLAYS YOU RUN. it's common knowledge that ANY PLAY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL if the players execute. A fb dive can go for 40 yard TD if the players execute it.

I think that most people expect a NC from the team every season; the difference is some people realize that winning the NC is a tough thing to do, especially so when you have a team like Alabama in your same frickin' division.

What bothers me isn't when LSU doesn't win the MNC every year, but when LSU is playing for the MNC and LSU doesn't even "show" for the game.

Stars mean NOTHING TO ME. It matters VERY little how many STARS a player has coming out of High school. It matters on what YOU as a coach can do with them once they get here.

I agree somewhat. But at the same time.... You need to DEVELOP the players YOU recruit to get BETTER.
