any games prior to '07 have your panties still in a wad?

Thanks for pointing out that lsu has lost some games over a 5 year stretch. That's rare because everyone else wins all of their games and doesn't have select few losses over 5 years.

for me, i think it varies from yr to yr. for instance, last year i was def. expecting us to contend which we did for a while. didn't see us losing the uf game.

2011, expected us to win it. 2010 expected to contend.


2009 and 2013 i will expect 9-10 wins. in certain seasons when you know the odds of you taking the big prize aren't as great you just like to see things such as improvement in areas that have previously held you back.

so next yr, hopefully another 10 win yr, hopefully the progress we've all been waiting for on offense (and we'll be starting a new qb going into 2014 so we better fricking make it count this season), and that our young talent shows out on defense. i'll hope that we win it all but im not going into this summer thinking we are one of the top 3 teams in the country.

The Sunhine Boys and Joe Alleva don't agree with this. Second, third or fourth are just fine because we're strongly competing for Championships.

Personally, I'd prefer three out of the last four and the "Process, Atmosphere and Mentality" that makes that possible. The talent gap between us and them on the playing field is negligible. The difference is PAM. PAM. PAM! They don't "Settle" for second place. We do.

The goal is to win Championships period. I have no problem with that Mentality. I don't like Miles statement last week impling that he was satisfied with 10 wins. I want him to demand excellence and not put up with a shitty offense.

Another rantard that thinks LSU should win the National Championship every year. LSU has the most talent ever and no one else is competing for the same prize, so LSU should win it every single year. No excuses.
