How many more years do we keep both Aranda and Canada?

I think Canada will be here for awhile but I can't see Aranda staying longer than 2 years if he continues to have the success he's had.

If our D is as good as last year Aranda will get a look as a HC.

Whether he wants it or not is the question.

I know it's June and there's nothing going on, but are we really worrying ourselves with this already?

For Aranda, it's not a crazy discussion to have.

But for Canada, the man hasn't even coached a real game here yet lol.

Let's allow Canada to get beyond a spring Game first before we crown him so highly!

He's been quoted that is his goal, same with Canada.

This will be the downfall of a head coach who has said his goal is to always have elite coordinators, that means he will constantly have to hire elite coordinators because if they are elite, then they'll only be around 2-3 years. If they are not elite, then that's when O's lack of coaching skills will no longer be hidden.

Unless you are willing to take a pay cut as HC, have great ties across the entire country, and have a huge budget.

Oh wait...

My biggest concern over this is relying on this system. The stability will always be a major concern. Its not like Coach O is an offensive guru or a defensive mastermind. Plus we still need to see if the different approach in recruiting will be as successful.

A lot of question marks with a lot of room for disaster. Which is why a lot of people like myself have concern of stability of the program as a whole

Canada applied for head coaching jobs. He's gone as soon as he gets a good gig. If he leaves for a HC job it means he did a badass job here and I'm good with that.

This is Aranda's last yr. He is a smart man that will sense the ship is about to sink and he will run for the hills

Aranda will be a D.C. In the show sooner than we want him to be.

2 years tops.

CDA will have two seasons left at most. CMC probably the same.

I wouldn't mind CDA coming back with HC experience to run the ship.

This all day. Which makes hiring someone that's never been a coordinator even more ridiculous.

We're keeping them for at least 23 and a half more years. I dreamt it.
