How many LSU fans make the trip and will be in the stadium?

Got a wild hair to make this game with a buddy and am getting tickets right now (holy $hit btw). Just got me wondering how many other LSU fans are gonna be there.

Will be there 4 strong in the LSU section. Getting to the Grove around noon.

LSU sold their entire allotment, so there will be at least 6-7K LSU fans inside the stadium. I'd wager that there will be some outside who make the trip without tickets.

LSU sold 6,000 tickets. I expect maybe 500-700 more buy their way in. Small pep band.

Big group of us went in 2003 looking to buy tickets there. Only two of us paid the money and went to the game, but very glad I went. We paid 200 piece to be on the fifth row on the 40. Did have multiple ole Miss fans(college students to old people) argue and want to fight us for no reason while we were just walking. It was worse leaving the game after LSU won. It was well worth the visit. Grove was over rated imo, just too crowded and leaving was worse than LSU so many tailgaters were in the same place.

If 10,000 LSUs show up that would look pretty killer on the the tv. That is 20% of their stadium.

Will be there! Think it’s going to be a great time and will be lots of LSU fans. Can’t understand what the paranoia is all about on tigerdroppings. People act like we are entering a war zone! Least of my concerns is a few random Ole Miss hot heads cursing at me. Been in much worse situations than an away game in Oxford

Got family in Oxford, so I will be going to crash their little party. I have tickets, but might sell them and just take in the atmosphere, cold chicken tenders and all.

We went to the Ole Miss game the year Saban began at Bama. Most of the LSU crowd around us was enjoying La Monroe whipping him while we struggled with Ole Miss. The cops were brutal on the end zone section where 90 % of us were located. Usually the upper deck at State is mostly LSU fans. We can never be accused of failing to show on the road.

The left corner of the end zone will be nothing but. Some sprinklings on the edge of the 10-20 yard lines. I’d venture a guess and say 9,000-9,500.
