i have been pretty big on jj this offseason but damn dont put him on a heisman pedestal...your about to have a train ran on you for this post.

Take away cam newton from au, you are looking at probably 5 losses. And lastly, jj just needs to be smart & productive. 11 wins last season, with him at the helm, proved that it doesn't have to be all about the QB. All we need from him is average performances & let the weapons around him do the damage. newton was a "special" athlete who had the ability to control a game, we don't need that from jj-and that is a good thing!

Well Cam Newton's play last year won him the Heisman so obviously if JJ plays like Cam, wouldn't you be implying that JJ does the same thing?

I agree he has potential to do well this year, but comparing him to someone who was bigger, stronger, faster, smarter(ok maybe not smarter) is just a little out there. But I promise you no one here would actually have a problem with it it if would happen.

Would a JJ hater have to eat crow? Its not like he's done anything in his career to this poitn that would make you think he is going to light it up. If he has a good year, that doesn't mean the people who have complained about him the last 2 or 3 years are wrong. It just means he finally got better, 3 years later.

Not quite sure what you mean? If he shows his arse, I take that to be a negative thing, I would NOT be happy & I surely wouldn't be eating crow about jj under-performing. If you are using "showing his arse all season" as a good thing, well I'd probably have a 3 piece with a side of yippee!!! Either way, jj ain't cam newton, even at his best, he will NOT be a cam newton "like" performer. And that is fine, cam had to carry the load at au, all jj has to do is NOT F it up.
