my focusing doesnt occur till i am geared out, working the grill, sporting something that goes into a coaster on game day...i am sure CLM didnt include me in his gameplan for Oregon.
The Season isnt just one game, he is still on the team, and he isnt the only player to have been thrown under the bus by this board, or the "fans"

Tiger Bashing

I do not understand whats the motives behind bashing our own players. JJ while maybe not great certainly did what he could to win games for us at LSU since he was thrown into action as a true freshman. He had a bad year last year but thats was a collective effort by the whole team in contributing to the offensive's lackluster rankings from the OL to the WRs. He from all accounts took the team on his shoulders and tried his best to be a better QB throughout the offseason. He made a bad decision in a situation he shouldnt have been in but he is 21 years old and made a mistake(everyone has). he will face the consequences for his actions "if" he was even guilty. I am just tired of reading a bunch of posts that blast our own players this isnt the first time and certainly wont be the last. I just think we should back our players, support them and not be so quick to turn on them...it gives the fanbase a bad name and LSU is suppose to be one of the best in the nation. I understand winning changes everything but it wasnt that long ago that Dinardo was coaching and going to the Peach Bowl was a big deal...11-2 and whether that was inspite of him for some of those games...he still showed up for some of the biggest games of the year including Bama and A&M.

I remember being pretty bummed about that. He was all LSU and really wanted to come here because his mom was a huge LSU fan and turned him into one. I followed his recruiting and was excited about having him. He later switched his commitment from LSU to Oregon and then I read why. He was being recruited as an ATH and not as a QB. I am happy he has had the success he had at Oregon and wish Miles would have treated him better than he did. While I think he is better suited for what they do in Eugene...to think he couldnt have been successful in our offense under center as well is just foolish.

pride comes before a fall. oregon is not a team that should be taken lightly...auburn even with Cam and Fairley only won that game by a field goal even though they dominated the LOS the whole game. LSU and Oregon should by all accounts be a great game. Oregon coming off a loss in the NCG should be fired up to play this one especially since its against LSU, a premire program that the SEC is counting on to be among the best teams in the nation this year and to possibly carry their banner to another national title. Darron Thomas has his own personal vendetta in this one too...there are countless storylines in this one that you shouldn't just dismiss.
especially when you consider @Miss St, @WVU, @Tennesse, @Bama, UF, Ark, and possibly a SECCG...Ole Miss is never easy, and as long as Gus is calling the plays at Auburn I wouldn't over look them either. If we lose the opener I think you can almost lock up any where from 1-2 more losses.

If LSU takes a loss I would assume it would have to be in Conference...think Va Tech, our win over them propelled us over everyone in 07. Non Conference games will always be used as a measuring stick. Va Tech turned things around during the season but everyone remembers what we did to them. Even though we should not get blasted like they did any loss will be difficult to come back from...also whats the odds of lossing to Oregon and turning around and winning 11 straight?
somebody mentioned a reserve base near the airport. which again if we are talking about a reservist you are talking about someone who is only a "Marine" one weekend in a month..he is like a glorified ROTC kid. Probably had what he got coming to him for not knowing when to just shut up and not having someone to cover for him. I dont feel bad for the guy at all.
I am an active duty Marine stationed in New Orleans, I grew up in Slidell a huge LSU fan. I can tell you this. No Marine that is found at a bar is completely innocent. I do not know the circumstances behind this encounter but I can tell you most Marines when drunk are about as arrogant as any Bama fan you can think of. This whole incident could have very well been an incident caused by something that happened inside the bar which is why the Lawyer for LSU wanted to show the police a video from inside the bar that he was able to recover. Jefferson has never done anything that would tell me that he is the type to just attack someone. My real question would be why is there a Marine in Baton Rouge? Is he a reservist? there are no bases near that area unless the guy is a recruiter, on leave, or a reservist?
The Saints have sold out every single home game since 2006. they currently have a waiting list for season tickets that exceeds 20,000 people. They just signed a lease that extends the team here through 2025. Over the past 5 years New Orleans has put over 330 Million Dollars toward renovating the Superdome. The owner is being given basically the keys to the city and is as happy as he has ever been here in New Orleans. I will put the chances of this team leaving this state at a little over no shot in hell.
If you have an elite QB you have a chance to make it as far as any team in the league it’s just a matter of being hot with a tad bit of luck at the right time. The Saints were good but also lucky (albeit a tad bit due for some luck considering the history of bizarre that has surrounded this franchise for as long as it did) in winning a Super Bowl and the same could be said for most if not all championships(New England vs Oakland 2002). This is stupid to be discussing teams that will be knocked off before the season starts or even implode. The Saints beat the best teams in the playoffs in 09 and I wouldn’t want to cake my way to a title. If Phily is among the last teams standing and the Saints are there with them I will be more than thrilled because I wouldn’t want to measure myself against anyone else. I don’t like what if scenarios or had our teams met in this situation…leave no doubt. This is a sport that thrives on competition and I would like to play Green Bay, Phily, and hopefully the Pats. If that doesn’t happen its because we got beat in which case I just want to watch some good games…I don’t even know why Dallas was mentioned…they have accomplished nothing since the 90s.
well if we can play around in hypothetical situations that will never happen i would say trade a seventh rounder to dallas for demarcus ware. i think he would put our defense over the top.

Miami Moore Signing...not as Stupid as you may think....

Moore in only one season was able to guide Carolina to the Number 1 pick in the draft...if he can find a way to start over Henne, he will be able to duplicate his success and Miami will win the Luck sweepstakes.
anxiously awaiting news on
Jenkins or Mebane personally i have no preference as long as we land one of them.
Harper and Thomas
Nicks can not make his own decision because he is restricted so there will not be any suprises there...if the market gets to hot for him then the Saints at least know they will get something back for him.
Goodwin will be nice to if Loomis could make it happen however with all the people out there we need to still bring in I am not sure if that is possible yet.

Key Moments
Being drafted no.2 by New Orleans - At the time Bush was disappointed to be drafted by a small market team as oppose to Houston. New Orleans was a franchise that had been nowhere and appeared to be heading out of town based off the horrendous 2005 season and the turmoil the city was in. Bush came to New Orleans in the midst of the aftermath of Katrina and in the middle of a regime change with a roster full of outcasts and players that were castoffs from other rosters. After a call from Drew, Reggie was more open and willing to give it a shot here and see what could happen. He instantly revitalized the fan base and inspired hope for the future. For one of the first times ever we were given a national audience and coverage based pretty much off his presence alone.
2006, He may not have been the all-star caliber player many envisioned would be however he was a key cog in this offense and many teams respected him more than any other player on our offense. He constantly was drawing defenders into open space and was always being accounted for opening things up for the rest of the offense. His contributions to the scheme and game plan had a direct reflection on our team’s success that year.
2007-2008 while disappointing as a whole Reggie was productive and helped in leading the Saints to being recognized as one of the top offensive teams in the NFL.
2009 - Simply put…Miami.
Overall analysis
While Bush may not have been the player that everyone was expecting him to be, he was every bit the player the Saints needed at the time to give us credibility and help jump start the current state of the franchise. He had just as much invested into this team to make the turnaround as anyone. His presence in the community is exactly what someone would have expected from a key member but in no way should anyone feel entitled to those services. He chose to give up his time, donate his money, and make a real contribution to the youth of this city. I remember days where he would always be the last guy into the practice facility because he was standing out sweating in that Louisiana heat signing kid’s autographs while everyone else was bringing it in to the A/C. Bush wanted out to pursue an opportunity elsewhere to try to live up to the expectations set for him by the media, fans, and himself. The personal attacks need to stop because without him we would not be where we are. This man was great for us as a whole and we need to remember the big picture instead of giving him grief over something so frivolous as tweets, and other nonsense. He wanted to be the player that we wanted him to be and unlike Charles Grant and countless others his inability to meet those expectations had nothing to do with his effort, sleeping with a teammate’s wife, bad mouthing our city, etc. He has tried to remain a class act through everything and I think he deserves that back from us as well as he moves on to the next stage of his career. I wish him the best and will always remember the times while he was here because quite frankly they were some of the best years this Team and City has ever had.

loomis has been scheming for a minute! cant wait to see what he does with free agency this is his personal playground.
i was mostly venting about hardy complaining about his role in a movie that he doesnt even rate to gripe about being in.

the show when i was a kid always depicted him as a headstrong brash person who could be worked sorta like clayface. kingpin, scarface etc...usually worked him like a puppet aiming all hate and discontent for thier lives through batman the scapegoat for all thats wrong in the world.
the information came from an article asking how he felt about his role and he called it tasteless and typical.

Any new word on this movie?
I know Hardy hates his characters part altough thats what you get for signing on for a big movie without researching your character...Bane = brainless tank via any comic, movie, show you go off of...he has always been a tool for other villans to use in their grand scheme.
I havent been able to watch the trailer yet due to being at work.
I am hoping for a great movie but it would be hard to top the last two movies.

As a college fan i would be compelled to say what they do in school but as a fan more importantly of football i would say nfl. it depends on the situation of course for any particular player...i would much rather watch barry sanders destroying players while wearing a lions jersey than in an osu jersey...this is where learning to appreciate players beyond your respective schools comes into play.
Damn Tennessee and Arkansas....freaking repeat offenders!
Bastardized...worse than dragonball evolution? if anything fox owes the world a reboot for torturing everyone who wasted money to see one of the crappiest possible adaptations of a beloved anime franchise. no one ever wanted a "dragonball" movie, or an american douche who has no fighting ability whatsoever to play the most badass person in the universe.
