Video board got a sound upgrade as well (or they were playing it MUCH louder than normal during last Saturday’s scrimmage)

At the beginning it will be very loud. It will slowly get more quiet due to the heat, especially if there isn’t a ton of action.

Exactly. Just like every other game.
It will be loud on Clemson's first drive. Maybe even the 2nd or 3rd. After that, the game itself will dictate the level of fan interaction. If it is a close game in 3Q or 4Q it will be loud. If not, it won't
