Theoretically how long would it take to tear down and build a new facility and where would team play in the interim?

Probably 2-3 years and they would probably play at the River Center.

Don’t know but have always thought playing in the river center downtown made a lot of sense. Get something down there that will bring money into the local establishments also

Relocate Bernie Moore and build it there.

A track stadium could be build relatively cheaply. We have plenty of land.

My guess would be 2 years for a full tear down and rebuild. I’ve heard others mention they could play in the River center downtown. Not too far from the PMAC down Nichols

I think this would be kinda cool for a year or two honestly. It's an intimate little venue for basketball.

With the state of money issues, I would think it might be low on the priority list. I'd love to see a new arena but wonder where the $ is going to come from.

Relocate Track facility to someplace else on/near campus. Build new Basketball Arena on top of the current Track Facility. Continue playing in the PMAC until new arena is completed then tear down the existing PMAC.

Plus the BOOING given to our States liberal so called leader John Bel Biden Disaster Pandemic Hore Edwards we won’t get any money from him. That money is reserved for Climate Control and the killing of the oil industry.

Doesn't stop the pols from opening an inquiry into how the Athletic Dept spends their money. They'll probably pass a law giving them authority on how the dept spends its money. A dollar on LSU a dollar on the inner city sounds right to them.,

This X 1Million

That whole area including Carl Maddox needs to come down. Add new parking and fan space. Plus current basketball facilities are right there.

Baylor is wanting to build their new arena in downtown Waco. No doubt on land owned by someone`s friend at BU. Kim fought it till the day she left saying it was the student's university and the students had a right to support their team on campus not downtown where they would have to pay for parking and had no ties to that area.

Use the new green space where PMAC used to be as a park and prime tailgating.

Y’all are so closed minded about what LSU should do to maximize the current area where the PMac is

IMO, we could just put it off River Road where we have enough land to add it with relatively no impacts to on campus operations in the meantime. And when done, we could perhaps rebuild Lockett and add another academic building in it's place.
