It's already begun. I've heard ESPN radio talking about how Alabama deserves to get in over Wisconsin or Oklahoma should either of them lose their conference championship games, and over a two-loss Big Ten Champion Ohio State. I am praying that Wisconsin and Oklahoma both win. If that happens, Bama is on the outside looking in this year.

Objectively, it would be hard to keep a one loss team out compared to a two loss team.
But it's not objective. The other teams had to endure the risk of playing a top 10 or top 5 team in their conference championship while Bama sits at home with no risk.

It won't matter. If Georgia wins the SEC Championship game, it is in for sure. If Auburn wins the SEC championship over Georgia, Auburn is in over Alabama, which it just beat. There is no path for a second place in the West to get in.

I really hope so, Frick bama!

"The only Top 15 team Alabama has faced beat it handily. November has not been pretty – the Tide trailed more than it led against Mississippi State, was outgained by LSU and simply was not the better team against Auburn."

Bama should not be in the playoffs.

They are gonna get in. This is exactly why there is a committee now. Not only would Bama likely be favored over most of the teams that are speculated to be in the playoff, they will also bring in more revenue. They will be in. Just accept it now.

Bama will get in. I wouldn't be surprised if they played for it all either.

How about a team that finished third in the SEC getting to play a mulligan against the undefeated team that BEAT the team with the mulligan?
Sound familiar? I hope like hell BAMA doesn't sniff the playoffs this year. But I will pray for the wives, kids and dogs in Bamaland.
