Those beavers probably didn’t get back to there rooms until real late and will have to turn around and do it again early. Also I see a ton of threads about our pitching but do they have anyone left? They seemed to be running low during our game.

Their twitter account looks like it ended around midnight.

Around 11:30 I think. SHS had runners on the corners when they made the last out. Both teams only had 6 hits. Pretty fast game.

Sucks for Sam Houston, but the West coast boys don’t mind the time at all.

A simple check if the game thread from last night would show it.

TigerWatch seems to be one of the few that can figure that out.

How do those west coast boys feel about earlyish start of a game that will likely be very hot and might even have some more weather delays? The tigers were snug in their beds by 10 last night. They will get a full night sleep and a regular morning routine. It’s going to be tough for the beavers to win one much less two today.

Unfortunately, one of the two was the worst pitcher on the staff with more than 5 IP for the season. Sam Houston letting him go 6 shutout innings was a major disappointment. The starter only went 2 innings, so I wouldn’t say he is burned, but he’ll more than likely be less effective if they do go to him.

I'd imagine they will be up for it.

The worse thing about being in losers bracket, testing their survival skills, we need to close this first game out and move on, this team can hit if they get hot and our top three starters are done for the wknd!! I think it’s gonna be a high scoring game and if we limit bone headed plays are errors then we should come out on top

Bro if somehow we lose game 1 there will literally be a tee set up at plate for lsu to rake in game 2. It's over for the beavers.

They do have a couple of guys left with some starts and average ERAs. They aren't quite as spent as we would have liked them to be and the game last night went way quicker than I had hoped. They did use their closer again and his total pitch count is up in the 40-50 range.

They’ve been here for five or six days, and pacific time is a grand total of two hours off central time.

Do you guys actually believe that the time difference between Corvallis and BR is a factor?

The final score was 3-1 OSU. I was expecting a lot more runs in this game. Would of thought the pitching on both teams would have been spent my mid game.
