i'm guessing there is a minimum rest time for teams in these situations?

11am seems like it would have made more sense weather wise. But, that wouldn't give osu much of a break.

Bro if somehow we lose game 1 there will literally be a tee set up at plate for lsu

For OSU also.

The starter only went 2 innings, so I wouldn’t say he is burned, but he’ll more than likely be less effective if they do go to him.

During the broadcast interview with OSU's coach he said he was going to pull him so that he could throw again tomorrow. They have every intention of throwing him again today.

Problem is depending on the pitching used for the first game, LSU pitching may have to resort to underhand slow pitch softball for game 2.

How do those west coast boys feel about earlyish start of a game that will likely be very hot and might even have some more weather delays? The tigers were snug in their beds by 10 last night. They will get a full night sleep and a regular morning routine. It’s going to be tough for the beavers to win one much less two today.
come on, now. These are college kids and it's baseball, not football.

The late ending will have zero impact.

Would of thought the pitching on both teams would have been spent my mid game.

Oregon St’s worst pitcher with more than 5 IP for the season threw 6 shutout innings. Sam Houston had a pitcher with a 0.00 ERA throw 4 shutout innings, so he probably hadn’t pitched more than an inning or two all year if any. The offenses just fell asleep.
