100 million dollar coaching contacts. 50 million dollar a year roster. Just to go 8-4 again.

Who want to spend millions on an 8-4 team? At what point does the well run dry as far as NIL goes?

It’s not. To think these entitled brats are making more than most hard working Americans is sickening. Legitimately hope college sports die before I do.

It’s not sustainable unless you’re winning

We are not winning, therefore the money will dry up

Isn’t the athletic department in the red right now? This isn’t sustainable, indeed.

It is not sustainable. LSU banks on winning which we've sucked about 14 years out of 15 the past 15 years.

This is honestly the real fear. How will donors put up big bucks for next year if we can’t beat fricking Kentucky?

Totally agree. If there’s no ROI, then you’re gonna end up with less money, less talent, and less incentive to invest.

This is why us conservatives need more oversight and government intervention.

People keep saying this but LSU’s spending has only gone up the more that we lose…

It’s not. Tonight was a big deal for the program.

It’s over.

I was thinking earlier about how much easier I’d generally be on Leavitt if we weren’t paying him life changing money. Dude is fleecing the fans and university

True statement. The money people are not going to keep pumping money into the program to go 8-4, 7-5. The money is going to eventually be pushed in other directions, as it should. The fact is, LSU is nothing more that a middle of the pack SEC team at the current time and I don't see it getting any better.

We are not going 8-4. That’s a stupid pipe dream. Stop it. 7-5 at the best 5-7 worse. Most likely 6-6
