How is all this O stuff coming out right after getting fired?

Fights, trashy girlfriend at practice drama, hitting on women at gas stations.
Who decided to leak it right after the announcement? Why not last week?
Similar to the Gruden leaks the who and the timing is interesting.

you wouldn't want it to come out while he was still gainfully employed - would hurt the LSU brand and be a distraction.
Now that he's effectively fired, it softens the blow of actually firing him - for the Facebook Mom crowd. It's still not great PR, but now we can point to it and say "Yeah but he's fired"

Some of it is likely embellished, the other part is the media doesn’t want to ruin the working relationship with the program

It’s ok to leak now because he’s out so they’re not worried about reporting it and losing access.

I think people were sitting on this stuff out of fear of Ponamsky cutting off their access. He did it to one of his long time friends so nobody was immune.

No one leaked it, media just sat on it until the time seemed right. That’s how media works.

Speaking of things coming out, over the last few weeks a couple of posters have referred to an incident at a fishing camp involving O. And I don’t mean O’s references to a fishing hole. Any details on the fish camp incident?

It's been all over this board. He apparently didn't like a comment made by a passerby on the water in Fouchon. O followed him to his camp, barged in and threatened him. That guy is also a supposed booster.

Weeks ago I was hearing stories about him telling his ex that anyone she dated would have to deal with "this", as he flexed his biceps.
We all heard about him threatening someone in Grand Isle. We all knew he was womanizing like he was on speed.
Obviously some people, over whom he had power, would keep their counsel until he was fired.

O had a policy of freezing out media members who didn’t play nice. Now that threat has been removed.

media began getting tipped off to the parting agreement friday, so most spent the weekend sharpening their knives. Many were also stories that have been known but couldn't run because Ed and derek blackball anyone that speaks out of turn.
