From experience, it's very very hard to give your heart and soul game in and game out when you know you don't have a chance....especially at RB because you take more punishment than anyone, LF knew going into Bama games what was coming, him running into a brick wall all night, against ole miss and Aubbie he knew he had a chance...after the scuffle against Florida he decided to play hurt, to me that's heart and a good teammate....The truth is Jax has been as dysfunctional as Miles offense against Bama....and still had a great rookie year, put him in a better situation and he'll be fine

Yeah. Hope he doesn't "sit out" 3/4 games if Jacksonville ever gets to the playoffs.

Y’all are fricking crazy. He is easily the best LSU running back I’ve ever watched.
And re the NFL, it’s not a RB league anymore. With the exception of a very very few guys, RBs are interchangeable. I blame idiot GMs for drafting RBs too high. .

He also played for the Jags. Not a good franchise.

Fournette is on the trade block for the same reason they traded AJ Bouye, Jalen Ramsey, Nick Foles and Calais Campbell and have shopped Yannick Ngakoue. They have no idea how to run an NFL franchise.

You people are crazy. Fournette had a reputation for crazy workouts in high school and was always well conditioned. He had some injuries at LSU but the guy always played hard. Hell he cost us the game against Florida because he wouldn’t sit on the bench injured. I disagree with some of the “social” issues he has promoted but Fournette was always a warrior. If he had gone to A1abama it would have been devastating to morale at LSU. He hasn’t been a superstar in the NFL but few players are. My only regret is that he wasted his potential playing in a Les Miles offense.

Fournette only gave us about 80 % most of the time with us
Just how in the frick do you know that? Some of you people are so full of shite it’s hard to properly put into words.

I thank Leonard Fournette for picking LSU. He was one of the highest-rated Louisiana recruits nationally in the modern era, so it would have been a disaster had he chosen to go elsewhere. That is especially true given that he committed in January 2014, arguably the peak of Alabama dominance.
He was good in 2014, one of the best backs in LSU history in 2015 (leading the nation in yards per game), and elite when healthy in 2016. His teams would have won more games had his offenses not been led by Anthony Jennings, Brandon Harris, and Danny Etling. I don't really care what he does or does not do for Jacksonville. He picked LSU.

He sucked vs Bama. I won’t forget that effort.

I know I was hammered in the student section in 2015 against Auburn, but I could’ve sworn he had the entire Auburn defense calling their momma at halftime

Fournette literally spend 3 months in Wyoming last offseason working with his former LSU strength coach to get in great shape for the season. How can his work ethic be put into question without referencing this?
These MFers don't care about facts. They have a want to turn on LSU players at the drop of a hat. They turned on LF after he played hurt most of the year and wouldn't risk further injury in the bowl game. They turned on Greedy. They shite on Delpit because he didn't play up to their standard while hurt. They hate OBJ and JR. They started hating on Spears and Booger.
LF was known for the hard work he put in starting in high school as a freshman. He gave his all to LSU despite an offense that put a bulls eye on his chest. Never complained. When he committed to LSU he literally saved that recruiting class. He could have easily chosen Bama, which would have been a gut punch to LSU recruiting that would have taken a long time to overcome. And what does he get from LSU scumbag fans? Piss and shite balloons. Got to be the worst fans in the world.

Jacksonville is a dump of a program and no one wants to play there. There’s been articles posted the % of plays Fournette has rushed against defenders Stacked in the box, and it’s higher than when he was at LSU, highest in the league for a RB. Hope he gets out of there

Fournette reminds me of Lebron for some reason, probably the victim mentality. I think he's a good dude though, just a little misguided. Aren't we all though.
