It's as if we ended a series on a Sunday then had a Thursday series after. Or they might get normal rest if we start our super regional on Saturday.

Everyone that matters will be available on normal days rest. If Cowan and Evans get an elevated pitch count they probably don't go until Game 3 of Supers

Not really much at all. Especially if the super starts on Saturday

If you can't gut out having to pitch a little more than normal to win a championship then take your pussy arse rag arm home. You don't belong.

The Supers are June 6-9. Having to play today, gives our starter one less day of rest. I think it's a do whatever we need to win and the whole staff is available, some on pitch counts (Eyanson and Anderson).

Hopefully 0

Ideally Cowan gets a starter workload and Evans gets a relievers workload

Evans is available Game 1
Cowan Game 2

Not much

G1: You get Eyanson and Evans
G2: You get Anderson and Cowan

If we don't have to use Eyanson, it doesn't at all.

If we do, and then play a Fri-Sat-Sun super, it complicates things. You'd think LSU would run it back next week with Eyanson/Anderson to give them each a full weeks rest. Using Eyanson tonight would likely mean that Anderson goes on short rest Friday, Eyanson short rest Saturday.

Or they could play a Sat-Sun-Mon super and it doesn't matter at all.

Not really. Jay has said Eyanson could be in play tonight for a few innings, which was his reason for starting him G1. No telling how many Evans throws tonight.

I would imagine supers goes back to Anderson as G1 starter.

Our super will probably start on Saturday. Lose and it won't matter.

I don’t think it’s set what bracket starts Supers (and Omaha) on Friday. The other side starts Saturday.

Digging a little deeper, it looks like there’s only 3 set Super sites as of end of play last night:
- Arkansas and UCLA on LSU’s side
- Auburn on the other side

I’m not sure how they determine what side of the bracket starts Friday, but both sides are pretty even with 3 games still to play today. Only two set Super matchups - one on each side (UTSA @ UCLA; Coastal @ Auburn).

You do realize that’s 4 days, right?

They usually give the teams that play on Monday a Saturday Super Regional start.

I mean I said that with the notion it could be interchangeable.

Shouldn't be a problem. Throw everything including the kitchen sink at them tonight, though.

If Eyanson pitches tonight at all and LSU wins, it becomes and interesting decision for Jay.

Anderson obviously starts game 1 of the SR and you hope that’s on Saturday. Do you then Pitch AE on Sunday or do you bullpen it on Sunday and then have AE pitch Monday if necessary? Would be nice to give him a full 6 days rest after needing to pitch on 1 days rest.
