plenty of other ways to win this game. Their WR room isn't nearly as elite as it has been.

Harold Perkins will feast in this game. I'm hoping to force their O-line into some difficult blocking situations and maybe get some holding calls once they get desperate trying to keep Perk and BJ off Young.

Getting to Bryce should not be a problem. The corner backs needs stay on their receivers for an extended time. If you notice Bryce does a lot of running around because I don't think his offensive line is that good and his receivers have trouble getting separation

I would take a lil bit from last year defensive strategy, mix in some new packages (Harold Perkins specials), box Young in the pocket. I'm in agreement with most that Gibbs is the key to Bama winning. We cannot let him get going.

I have a bad feeling this game will look exactly like the Tennessee game.

Since when is Bama running a hurry up offense for the full game?

MSU has been pretty mediocre this season. They beat a collapsing two teams in A&M and lost to UK and freaking USCe. A&M nearly beat Bama without any offense and their defense has been mediocre this year. Their game is a lot closer if they don’t keep going for it on 4th down and take the points instead. They moved the ball efficiently on Bama.

Lsu is the best defense that Bama will have faced to date, which is sad considering LSU’s defense has been inconsistent as hell all year.

I think you have to play containment on D, and make BY stay in the pocket. Yes, he will still make throws, but he seems to thrive when flushed from the pocket.

Shut down the run and keep Bryce in the pocket...his big plays come when he scrambles and receivers break off their routes...

I don’t really care about sacks against Young. Put pressure on him but mainly just keep him in the pocket. When he is outside the pocket and they are doing their scramble drill you are in big trouble.

Mekhi Wingo getting pressure up the middle will be huge as well.

We got to his arse last year with a depleted and worn down team. But when coach O left our Def Coordinator alone, he pressured Young and we were in it until the end.

Take away Young's right side. If he scrambles make him go left. Make him throw against his body or collapse the pocket. Young does a lot of damage on the roll out. Take that away. Make him play small ball. Dump offs, maybe allow some short crosses. You don't need to sack him, just make him incomfortable and get him off his game.
