We are like ND in football. Always ranked high to start the season

they made the playoffs two of the last 3 years.
i don''t see us finishing that high.

When was the last year LSU ended up ranked higher than the preseason ranking?

ND and OU in the playoffs are basically byes for the opponent

But with more Freshman and Sophomores in our starting lineup than any other SEC school, this was bound to happen.

This has been the pattern for the last 3-4 years along with ranking of the recruiting classes.

If we are to assume these poles have generally accepted creditable that reinforces the talent is there and the coaching is not there.

They signed a great class and had a couple of highly talented starters..
