How come everyone is good until we play them

After we play them oh they're no good.
Just watch as we go through the schedule. People saying Kentucky is improved and cowbell has a QB - but after we destroy them - oh they weren't any good. It's a long season.

I’d rather have this problem than the one we’ve had in recent years, where they are struggling until we show up and make them look like Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Exactly. If we went into Oxford and won that game the media would’ve said “that’s what we were supposed to do”. Media would’ve no doubt downplayed it if we would’ve won. Ok the flip side look at how they’re treating Florida for beating ole miss. We’ll be hated by the media as long as Kiffin is here and I love it.

To be fair they named lsu the best team ever after beating clemson. Texas was the best team ever after beating Ohio State. Ole miss was the best team ever and Chambliss was the best qb since burrow after beating us. Now Florida is the best team ever after beating Ole Miss. Kamario Taylor is now the second coming of Lamar Jackson combined with Josh Allen. Who will it be next week?

Everyone has always done this with LSU. I remember during the 2019 season. Every single week the goalpost was moved.
It was always "oh but wait until they play X". Or "they haven't played anyone yet".
Now the 2019 team is almost 100 percent regarded as the best college football team in the history of college football. The only people that disagree are the Homer's from the few teams that have a case for their team in the argument.

We are only 3 weeks into the season. People’s opinion on teams change on a weekly basis. It doesn’t just have something to do with who is playing LSU.

I saw a site say ole miss has 2 good wins by including 2-2 Louisville who has a loss to Wake Forest but simultaneously give no credit to lsu for beating 3-1 Clemson and 2-2 tamu.
Listen you want to justify keeping OM over LSU by using head to head has to matter. Ok fine I get it but don’t use Louisville to justify the ranking but give no credit to LSUs schedule

Some of y’all really just make shite up. LSU started the season ranked #6 and never fell below that. They were the #1 or #2 ranked team every single week from October 13th until the end of the season.
