I said this same thing less succinctly over in CCB.. it’s nice to have an actual human being for a coach.

A shockingly rational take from the OM side

I read your comment earlier today but just got a chance to watch the press conference in its entirety... Brother, let me tell you I don't think I've ever seen a better press conference. We have a real person for a coach!

I've gone through several similar transitions, and the way he talked about his time at Ole Miss and the last 48 hours really resonated. He knows he made the right decision, but it's still brutal to go through actually executing it. His head is here already, but his heart is still in Oxford. That takes time. But let me tell you, this man gets LSU and he gets us. And when he runs onto the field in Death Valley for the first time to take on Clemson, his heart will be here. Geaux Tigers!

Does Knox call Lane “my boy”?

If Kiffin wins a natty here it will be two former Ole Miss head coaches to win one at LSU.

Has that ever happened anywhere before? And not just at the same school but at an in conference rival???

This thread is the last thing I expected to see after forcing myself to not check the board for several hours. What a night!

This one right here. To me, this was the moment when the modern era of LSU football was born.
23 is irreplaceable - 14 year drought, Jay’s first, the Wake game was one of the greatest I’ve ever seen, and handing it to Florida after a 20 run loss in game 2. Also was the run that really taught my kids what LSU fandom is all about.

25 may have been personally more enjoyable to watch, though, because I learned what a cheddar goblin is and made some special friends :)

This is how I watched the Warren Morris HR in 96. 12" tv with built in VCR. I hope you get the same result!
