I think to start, get back to gang tackling...Too many one on one where we were run over or too many yards gained after contact....

I think we're masking a deficiency myself. Doesn't matter as long as we get the W and dont reveal what said weakness is.

The DL doesn’t scream talented to me. Potential but not overflowing talent. We can’t get pressure often enough and it keeps the guys on the field longer.

ummm...

they had a rough day against a talented team on the road with a good offensive coach. The plan wasn't the best, they got worn down, they made some key mistakes (that the good team took advantage of)

The D is, and will be, just fine

Our D will be fine. Not worried at all.

Yet.

If we give up 300+ yards passing to Vandy and/or florida and/or state, I reserve the right to change my mind and be worried.

The only offense we will face this year with any chance to be a better offense than Texas is Bama.

I wouldn't say anything is wrong just yet. Texas is the best offense LSU will face except maybe Alabama, and Alabama doesn't have a whole truckload of playmaking 6'5 receivers.

Texas only had 7 points at halftime and for whatever reason Aranda changed the defense in the 2nd half.

Yeah, I remember in the presser before the game O and Aranda stated they wanted to move to individual tackling to allow the other 10 defenders a chance to catch a breather.

No he didn't

Defenders missed a lot of tackles and they converted 3rd downs . Then they got tired w some key injuries...

The mistake to sit back was the plan from the start . ...worked in first and killed us in the second

Played more soft coverage in the 2nd half. Our linebackers has to be able to cover and tackle in open space.

WE don’t need to fix our defense. Aranda is in charge of that and he knows a lot more than WE do.
Relax. He’s got this.
