Agree, Alleva is a spineless puppet. However, Alleva's lack of spine continually exposes that LSU is being run by a bunch of incompetent clowns.
My questions are rhetorical, based on the explicit language in Alleva's contract.
Point is, LSU doesn't have to wait until Alleva's contract runs out to find a new court jester.
Unfortunately, there is no one at LSU running the clown show that will do what needs to be done.

and this is why WW's lawyer is off base advising him not to speak with LSU.
Follow this logic.
Wade talks to Alleva with the NCAA rep.
Alleva reinstates Wade.
Dawkins defense teams calls Wade, Alleva, NCAA rep and all meeting attendees and they become deponents. The Dawkins team wants to know the contents of that meeting. What was discussed.
Now the FBI (specifically the SDNY) is interested in all deponent testimonials.
Now the SDNY will discredit all meeting deponents that could potentially help the defense.
A perjury trap is a really good way to discredit someone. And with perjury you can go to jail. Not a good look on a college coach’s CV.
Now do you see the danger?

Follow this logic:
WW says "I paid Smart's family $10,000 to attend LSU"
WW, JA, NCAA official all say, "WW told us he paid the Smart family $10,000 to attend LSU."
OR.....
WW says "I did not pay Smart's family anything to attend LSU"
WW, JA, NCAA official all say, "WW told us he did not pay the Smart family anything to attend LSU."
Problem?
WW says "I paid Smart's family $10,000 to attend LSU"

Well I disagree... in almost 100% positive they have... classified or not
Posted on 3/27/19 at 11:13 pm to lepdagod
Do we even know that WW actually said what YahooSports alledged? Dawkins attorneys must have leaked those "transcripts" to Yahoo. Their goal is to make college MBB to look as crooked as possible. That makes those "transcripts" suspect to me.

You have inside info?
Because media reports are the judge classified the court filings last year. LINK
And the FBI denied the NCAA’s request for documents last month:
quote:
A federal judge on Thursday denied the NCAA’s electronic request to obtain unreleased information gathered by the FBI for a college basketball corruption court case, according to a filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

You have updated info? And if the administration has the tapes and they are damning why haven’t they fired Wade yet?

I am a 100% positive Ithat they have not heard the tapes. The FBI is not releasing any material pertaining to the case. I know this for a fact and if you say otherwise you are lying or talking out your arse

Innocent until proven guilty.
That’s how the law works.

So you don't think LSU or the NCAA have people they can call to listen to that tape????... that's naive to think otherwise... Will didn't come to the meeting because his lawyer know the administration has heard the tape and he basically had no excuse to give them period...

How many alters do you have Derek?

WW can speak to anyone about anything.
You are going there again?
Seriously?
So ONCE AGAIN, Will Wade could "speak to anyone about anything." It would be stupid to expose himself legally in that way. But he could do it. He could also climb to the top of Memorial Tower and jump, just to see how the landing would feel.
quote:We have discussed the concept of a perjury trap extensively. At this point, it is apparent you are either learning impaired, or just don't care about facts.
WW has no legal issues with the FBI/this federal court case.
quote:
Wade put out a statement Friday essentially saying that when all the facts come out the story will look a lot different than it does now. Beyond that he’s not going to say any more until he testifies at that trial, and nobody really ought to ask him to – if Wade were to go into a room with Alleva, LSU president F. King Alexander and/or members of the university’s Board of Supervisors and discuss anything on those transcripts it’s a good bet he’ll subject all of them to being subpoenaed by Dawkins’ defense counsel as well, and at that point everybody could be in a perjury trap. Be careful what you ask for.

quote:Since you are either incapable of understanding how a perjury trap can render an innocent man guilty, or ignore the fact because it does not fit your narrative, let's talk about this in different terms.
Is he worried that his comments to LSU/NCAA will make someone in a federal court case look more or less guilty of something?
Wade is threatened with subpoena by an adversarial (that means unfriendly) counsel.
With me so far?
The effort of that counsel will be to imply Wade did things including things he may not have done. He does not have Wade's interest at heart. If Wade telegraphed his testimonial responses for that unfriendly counsel, it would be akin to one football team giving the other its gameplan and playsheets weeks in advance of the game.
Got it?
Even if the obvious threat of legal entrapment is beyond you, perhaps you can understand the football analogy?
quote:It is a question which has been answered for you many, many, many, many times.
What is WW (and his lawyer) afraid of?
Wade has not been dismissed. Why?
Perhaps you should ask what is LSU afraid of?
Smart, whose case is joined at the hip to Wade, is reinstated.
Perhaps you should ask why would LSU and the NCAA do that?

You serious???
Of course these people have heard the tape... you think LSU or the NCAA doesn't have no one with the connections to get the tape...
The administration more than likely have been told by a insider Will on the wrong side here...
My question is this ... What exactly was the administration suppose to do???... Will the a-hole here plain and simple... shouldn't be on the phone with a known fixer... simple as that

Context. Have you heard the tapes? I ask how can someone “convict” without having all the info in context.
