How can anyone defend the conversations from the tapes?
I’ve seen people say the offer was referencing a scholarship?

How do you know it wasn’t?

No one is defending. People are asking to wait for the trial to be finished and know the whole story before making knee jerk reaction to appease media.

You don't know the context and Will cannot reveal because of pending trial.

It really doesn’t matter what is on the tapes.

Even if WW is 100% guilty, the administration completely botched every aspect of this. As is typical.

Easily, because the tapes prove nothing.

There’s a reason you use coded words. Called plausible deniability, son.

There may be some loophole that clears Wade. But let’s all be honest here. We know what was going on.

Because the “tapes” haven’t been released in their entirety. You have quotes pieced together for effect by a notoriously dishonest writer to paint a narrative. No sane person can confirm or deny anything on tapes we haven’t heard and have no context on.

Are scholarships given out to players family members?

We can speculate because we know that these players are paid. But we are just speculating because what’s on the tape isn’t proof.

No one has seen the transcripts presented to the judge. Only what a jackass says was leaked to him.

they can’t. Everyone here knows Wade paid players, they just like the winning so much they’re making every excuse in the book.

And they’re all hypocrites. If Wade coached for Bama, Florida, etc, this board would be DESTROYING him as a cheater and SCREAMING for him to be fired and for the school to get put on massive probation.

I’ve always known this board had a lot of blind homers, but this situation has really disheartened me about our fans. Wades a cheater, and yet 90% of this board is defending him.

Its disgraceful.

This is not a troll. I just wish our fans were a little more honest with themselves.

Why should anyone have to defend it?

I just wish you understood inncocent until proven guilty. Yes we all know what he was talking about on the tape but we also realize they have no physical evidence of money exchanging hands or at least that they haven’t leaked yet.

I can talk about bribery all day but until someone can prove that I paid someone for a benefit, that’s all it is, talk.
