How about College Baseball and the draft out of High School. Does the ban apply here too?

Kids getting drafted after High School get to choose whether they like their draft position and then can choose to play in college instead. Why is this different than all other sports?

I get your premise but it's not exactly the same thing. In baseball, they aren't signing a contract then changing their mind and going to school. Also, after the MLB draft they have a window to make a decision.

Unlike NFL and NBA, MLB doesn't require a player to declare for the draft. Anyone can be drafted if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Yep. It's actually the opposite. If you don't want to be drafted you have to formally tell them.

The premise is they aren’t the same.
Just like international basketball leagues and the NBA aren’t treated the same by the NCAA and the conferences.
Attorneys for guys like Wright and Harris will use that in court. They may not play SEC football again. But I bet they get another SEC paycheck before it’s said and done.

I don't know. What damages will they prove? They can still go to the Big 12 or ACC.
