They are a lock for the tourney sadly. Wins over Baylor, Gonzaga, that’s 2 1 seeds right there. Countless other big wins. Also lots of questionable losses.

They were projected as a higher seed than LSU before this game so that's not happening.

They'll be in the tourney, but I have to think getting blown out by aTm at Bama and losing to LSU is going to hurt their seeding.

It further shows the mindset of some of our fans that 1 win or 1 loss can dramatically change your season in basketball. Bama was a ranked team on the road against another tourney team and lost by 3 in OT.
If anything this is a “good” loss for Bama compared to some of the other losses they have. Based on their metrics from this game their NET may have even gone up by playing this game.

This Bama team sort of reminds me of their 02-03 team that was briefly ranked #1.
They ended up being mediocre in league play, we beat them in the regular season finale, they were one and done in the SEC tournament, and still got a 10 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Alabama is in the tournament and will likely be seeded ahead of LSU. I have no love lost for them, but they played a brutal non conf schedule and have arguably the most impressive non conf wins of any team: Gonzaga, Baylor, Houston
