That was a UUUUUGE mistake in an extremely tight game.
It's like he reacted before he could think it through.
All he had to do was hold the ball in that situation.

no bitch
its fine to think he might should be on the bench but the constant bashing of players by fat fricks who dont even go to the games and couldnt even play in HS needs to stop. Its a terrible look by the fan base and it not just baseball, its football too. but at least the football guys are legit getting paid. the baseball guys just getting paid enough to live and get by.

You are a dumbass. It was actually an extremely smart baseball play by Ruckert. He made a physical error by rushing the throw but he set up the runner rounding 3rd and had him dead to rights. If he makes an accurate throw we are out of the inning with no runs.

He will be the Curiel on next years team. Best stroke on the team of the new guys and portal busts.

Ruckert didn’t show near enough to be guaranteed a starting spot next year. Braun and Serna are the only 2 freshman that should have a guaranteed starting spot going into next year.
Agree with you and i'm not ready to move Ruckert to SS next year. Let him start at 2B and go find another SS in the portal unless Jay thinks the 2- SS he signed can step in and start immediately

Personally not convinced on him. I'm hoping LSU gets a good one in the portal just in case. Not saying Ruckert won't develop but this wasn't a single thing. It was an all year thing. He collapsed several times in big moments and cost us games. Going into next year in hopes he develops into what we think he will is partly why we experienced our problems this year with guys like Bide behind the plate.
He looks stiff at 2B don't know how he will do at SS but i'm all for leaving him at 2B. Go play 2B in summer ball and get better. I think he can be a good bat for us
