Honeybadger is the Chief’s MVP.
Parade on NFL live and the team named him the MVP. It’s just crazy to think how someone could have everything, lose it all, then gain it back.

He never lost it. He never took a step back on the football field. He was always a beast. He just had a slight set back on the personal side. Many of us go through things like that. The ones that correct the path and stay focused are the ones that find success.

I would say he almost lost it all he because he never really lost his shot at the NFL.

Not altogether true. He had major setbacks tearing both ACLs and having a dislocated shoulder. He's missed several games due to injuries, yet he's even overcome that.

Setback and step back are two different things IMO.

He's had setbacks and overcome them, because he's never taken a step back on the field.

My favorite Tiger forever. As loaded as we were in 2011, you take him off that team and we probably win 10 games. The best defensive player I have ever seen in college, and the dude did all of that in 2 years. I am convinced that he would have won the Heisman had he not been suspended for synthetic weed lol.

He really is one of the most intelligent and instinctive players we have ever had, and nobody had more swag. Peterson started the #7 thing but Badger made it official.

all based on him accepting that weed isn’t “harmless”.

He would have won the Heisman if he had played at Ohio St., Michigan or Notre Dame. Those guys know how to promote players who really aren't true Heisman candidates, like Mante Teo, Chase Young etc. The Badger really deserved it!

re: Honeybadger is the Chief’s MVP.
So, TM7 was staying across the hallway from me during a hurricane. The power was out but he was at the end of the hall and I could see an outline of him so I called out his name and he said what up.

I was at the SEC Championship on the first row and had a program from that game, I asked him if he could sign it being that he was the MVP, he obliged.

Like 2 weeks later, he was drafted by the Cardinals. Now he is another MVP, and I will never get a chance to meet him again. Glad I wasn’t one of those people that say, o I won’t bother him.

I’m not selling my program but I’m guessing the value went up on it.

So happy for him. Couldn’t have happened to a better man. Tyrann picked himself back up and refused to be denied. True Tiger.

Could've spiraled down. Could've blamed anyone and everyone but himself.

Instead, just stepped the hell up and made it happen.

Seems very involved in his charity work.

Seems very involved as a father.

Seems as if he really believes the motivational aphorisms he cites that are usually just to look good in public.

No doubt he would have won the Heisman in 2011 if he had played those suspended games.

One of the all time greats at LSU. His highlight reel for those 2 years was simply unreal. I've never seen any other player do most of those things EVEN ONE TIME. And yet we were getting one or two per game for awhile there.

What did he lose? Playing time in a league he wouldn’t be compensating for his efforts in?

He didn't "lose it all". He made a mistake as a 19 year old and learned from it.

He's still a great story, I'm just saying.
