That’s a beautiful football field house y’all have at Loranger High. I work for the company that built it :)

He would be great at motivating, teaching both position and life skills, trusted by family and their kids, and he knows multiple defenses including House being one of his guys during the hiring process. Yeah.. he would definitely translate very well to DB coach. All Pro, Super Bowl and Heisman finalist as a defensive player. He would be money.

Misread your post. When you said retire from NFL and become DB coach I was thinking Saints not LSU. This retard is clear now, and I agree with you.

Takes a good man to admit when he’s wrong. I was wondering wtf you were talking about

His redemption story has to be one of the most incredible turns in modern human history.

Can he go ahead and retire from the NFL and become our DB coach?

Could you imagine he and Patrick Peterson coaching and recruiting LSU's secondary?

He’s a very generous person, and turned out to be just a class act

Mathieu’s growth as a human being brings a tear to my eye.

Not trying to pick a fight with you or anyone else with this sentiment. He’s clearly grown into a fine individual. Would be proud if my boys turned out like him. I personally just don’t think he was ever that bad in the first place. He certainly broke rules. But the rules were silly. He smoked pot in college? Who didn’t? Hell, since it’s become legal how many suburban housewives do you know with a pantry full of gummies? Just hate that he ever got labeled. This wasn’t Cam Newton, Jameis Winston, Cecil Collins or Ryan Perrilloux behavior.

When football is over for him I really hope NFL films does a "A Football Life" on him. I know usually they are HOF guys, but his journey is really awesome. At one point he was in Shreveport after Katrina.

He needs to be connected to LSU in some form or fashion because he has a real life story that can have a positive impact on a lot of these young men that are heading down the wrong road.

If you're talking about the teacher who just got busted for fricking one of her students, I wouldn't say that has the school in shambles. If you're talking about infrastructure issues then I agree. Good news is they finally have the funding to move forward with building a new High School that meets their size requirements, the current High School would be come the Junior High, and the Elementary would expand into the current Junior High.
