Cignetti got a national title in year 2 with wayyyyy less. This isn’t the past. Results are expected much quicker.

I expected 9-3 this season, with hopes of sneaking into the playoffs if there were several 9-3 teams in the mix.
I no longer expect 9-3 or playoffs this season. I still expect 8-4 though.

Honestly my thoughts at the beginning of the year were losses to aTm, Texas, and Tenner. I'm a bit of an optimist though. I didn't expect aTm to suck and KY to have as much success as they have been having. 9-3 was what I had but 8-4 was a real possibility. Still on track to meet expectations.

I just expected them to win the games they are supposed to win and hopefully squeeze out an upset between Texas, Bama and Tennessee. Having done that, we would be a 2 loss team at season's end. Now, I expect LSU to be a 3 or 4 loss team, likely 4 losses.

I thought we'd go 9-3. I also think at least one 9-3 SEC team will get in this year. The problem is that now I think we go 8-4.

Shite, UK’s is somewhere between 35-40 million. They have good coach who is playing loose and beat us at home with everything going their way. It’s not like we were picked to blow them out.

2 straight james madison coaches have turned around indiana and ucla in year 1. This excuse doesnt work in current day cfb. Just admit LSU should have just kept BK and saved some money while getting the same results
