Ok all, I’ve been watching the comments, and I’m not as irate as most of you are. I saw a team trying to find its identity where the majority of the players are new, expectations were high, and the season is abnormal at best.

The biggest takeaways for me were the O-line not holding their blocks, dropped passes, and the defensive secondary was obviously not prepared. I for one believe these things can be fixed and this team can have a respectable, and perhaps even great, year. I believe the challenges and adversity Brennan faced today will help him be ready for the next game. I’m not bailing on this team.

The biggest takeaway is we’re in a count down to firing O and getting a real coach. Get ready of 3 years of torture until we get low enough to do that

I’m still unhappy but I’m not bailing either. It can’t be overstated how disappointing the defense and MB were today.

I honestly doubt that some of the OL issues are fixable and I have even more doubt that the way Brennan reacts to pressure is fixable. He just can't handle pressure.

State just overhauled their entire program for the second year in a row. We are coming off a national championship. Everyone is dealing with an abnormal season. We should be better than them. No excuses.

Screw it. I guess I’ll take 1, he’ll maybe 2 subpar, 2 to 3 loss season/s if that’s what has to happen when you complete the Best Season w/the Best Team & Best season by a QB in CFB History!!!

That’s what I have to tell myself to avoid the LSU BLUES & Depression for the next 2-3 months

He is not immune from criticism. We are the defending champs and we just got smoked by a new coach with a new QB at home with a roster full of three star players.

This is bad.

Talking about Post-Game, the LSU PG radio show with Hunt Palmer and those two X-LSU football players is totally unlistenable.

Embarrassingly bad; had to turn it off and wait an hour for Hannigriff!

Nice post. Not bailing on this team either.

First half play calling irks me the most. We were lining up like it was the 2019 team out there.

Just losing to Miss state in a game we couldve definitely won is frustrating

Costello is a good qb and has the experience to do what he did to a relatively inexperienced LSU team. He’s legit, and LSU will be fine.

I agree. But this team is virtually brand new and untested working as a unit compared to the returners from ‘18 going into ‘19. They failed the test today, but I’ve got to believe the answers will be there for next week.

I kind of expected this performance. But I was out of the house with my brother at an LSU football game so I'm happy.

I agree with a lot of what you said. But I think much of the criticism of Brennan is accurate. The question is whether he will improve. He was tentative, indecisive, and slow.
