I'm thinking Arkansas wins by 3-4 runs. Anderson is a good pitcher but I just haven't seen elite stuff from him. Meanwhile Root was absolutely elite in his last start and has seemed to get better each week. Arkansas has better hitters 1-9 that can manufacture runs better than LSU and IMO has better guys coming out of the pen.

What an insecure idiot. Anderson has mock draft #1 overall. Root is at #39. Still good, but it's #1 vs #39.

I don’t think he acts like that usually. They were playing Tennessee and every one is tired of their bullshite. We even ran our mouths a but that weekend. The batter Root mouthed off to is such a tool he had the Wake Forrest coach calling him a f***ing f*g the week prior.

I'll always believe LSU has the advantage (no matter what), just the type of fan I am as well.. You don't get to this point by being a slapdick team. Park will play big and defense/pitching will be important. It's going to be a good game

I was coming to post this.
Hopefully none of our pitchers have a meltdown and start walking batters left and right.

He went 6 innings, giving up 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 0 (1 HBP);
For comparison, Anderson went 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, 10Ks and 1 walk. Root had had higher % of strikes.
Both guys pitched well enough for their teams to win (though neither got a decision). I wouldn't say Rook "looked like shite". If that is the case, so did Anderson.

Yep.
As close as we are statistically to Arkansas, 1 stat worries me.
Their pitchers have only walked 181 batters. Our pitchers have walked 259.
Limiting free passes will be critical .

Current projected 1st pick in the draft isn’t Elite? His statement alone causes him to lose all credibility.
