i agree with you that I would LIKE an explanation, just to know and for me personally to get more behind JJ and stop feeling bad for LEE. Not sure I DESERVE an explanation though. I am definitely not pissed.... worse things have happened to better people every fricking minute of every fricking day. JLee will be better for this in the long run.

STFU

This isn't pee wee football.

Lee should be proud he got to say he was part of the win against UGA.

Less talented players who might be good people get passed for playing time by more talented players all the damn time.

Football is a competitive sport. The best player plays.

Comments like your OP make LSU fans look really stupid.

There's no reason to be all baffled about something you don't have all the facts to. Forget about it for now.

I’m still spitting mad. After a full nights rest and a glorious morning at church with my family, I still find myself furious with Coach Miles. His decision to put Jarrett Lee in, in the 2011 SEC Championship game, for one down, TO TAKE A KNEE, is an unbelievable disgrace to me. Once again Lee showed that he is more of a man than I could ever be (and not just because I’m a woman). I would have... run the ball, thrown the ball, something, anything, but taken a knee. That or handed my helmet to Coach and told him to do it himself and to stick that helmet where the sun doesn’t shine. When some fans booed Jordan Jefferson during a game, Coach Miles said, "I didn't anticipate that. I can't imagine that. That doesn't work for me. A guy comes out giving his all and be treated poorly. I don't like it." Well Les, I don’t like it either. Your words work perfectly for what YOU did to Jarrett Lee last night. You have treated him poorly and unfairly on numerous occasions. Do you not remember how he led our team when we needed him most? Last night was the icing on the cake for me. What could he possibly have done to deserve that? You clouded with disgust what should have been an unbelievably happy night for Tiger fans. If I would have been at that game, I would have booed YOU Coach Miles. You owe the Tiger faithful an explanation for why you would do such a humiliating thing to Lee, or we’ll be left to come to our own conclusions…and the only ones I can imagine don’t work well in your favor Coach. Sincerely, One Pissed off LSU Alum and Fan Geaux Tigers!

Sweetheart,

1. Get off your husband's computer.
2. Go make him an egg salad sandwich.
3. Don't worry about football. That's grown man shite.

Cupcake.... save it....

I don't claim to KNOW what the coach thinks.... I do know as a player, JL probably wanted to be on the field more than he was.... but he's got more class than to take his helmet off and refuse to enter the game or do something stupid like run or throw when the call was for Victory formation as victory had been secured.

Not worth arguing... but it was NOT dissrespectful of JL to have him enter the game... I was not there... but I suspect FANS cheered Lee entering the game.

I expected Lee to come in after 5 consecutive 3-and-outs, but ... well, in the end we won by 32 points with Jefferson playing the whole game. This year, Miles has done of one the best jobs of coaching and leadership in college football history. I may question some of his decisions, but I've given up any attempts to second-guess. I'll trust Les' decisions win or lose.
