His tweet about the Emery situation

quote:

The John Emery “was signed up for the wrong class” narrative is completely false. The academic issue Emery is going through isn’t because of a “wrong” class that was taken this summer. #LSU

Hey mods,

It would hold more water if we hadn't seen this same type of issue in the past.

Unpopular opinion: 99.999% of the fault begins and ends with Emory.

Well if Cox Center handled this correctly, who screwed up. It is reported that LSU asked for a waiver. Waiver for what?

Even if the kid was signed up for an intercession class that ended up being the incorrect class for his degree progress, he was still relying on an intercession class to maintain his eligibility. That's definitely his fault. I don't think your opinion is as unpopular as you do.

But there is also fault to be laid at the feet of the head coach.

I'm sure they'll be as honest as they were about the Arik Gilbert situation.

He either didn't truthfully pass the class that he needed to or he got dropped from a class (or classes) already this semester.
