Locked on LSU (Matt Moscona)

I know many here dislike Moscona, but I appreciate his post game baseball content.

AYS Sports (Blake Ruffino)
If y'all thought Moscona was a tool, just wait until you watch a few minutes of this guy and you'll appreciate Moscona much more. Joking a bit there. Even though Ruffino isn't my favorite, I appreciate him for giving us some content.

Musso at the box
This guy reminds me of Hunt Palmer, with a worse voice.

Any other shows that y'all know about that I should check out?

Moscona is good on Locked on LSU because he keeps it about sports. Much more like what his show used to be before it got tough to listen to

Musso is a great listen and usually what I tune into right after a game

Don't take it back, you are dead on correct. As arrogant as Mascona is, he has nothing on Rufino.

Dude aggravates me because of how angry he gets. Like relax bro, you talking into a microphone.

Also, his doublespeak is the worse. Dude says one thing and then COMPLETELY contradicts himself with his next topic. It's pretty funny.

Figured I wasn't the only one who thought that about Ruffino.

Who is that? Not familiar with him or 11.7. I'll have to check him out.

Is the 11.7 a reference to the amount of scholarships available for college baseball. I think it used to be some weird number like that, although I think it's been changed recently. Can't really remember though.

I watched this guy Mascona for the first time a couple months ago. Never heard of him until recently learned his actual name.
Why Jay Johnson is correct on Brown…

Jake Brown is hitting at or below the Mendoza line vs lefties. Mascona is wrong. His swings don’t look good. Pearson has reverse splits righties vs lefties.
It’s not that hard so Moscone needs to actually watch the game.

It is. I believe next year it increases to 30+. That’s one of the reasons why LSU was so good in the 90s. With TOPS, we didn’t have to give any in state kids a scholarship so we could save them for out of state kids.

ETA: I stand corrected. Sorry, I’m a Louisiana transplant and this is what someone had told me.

Here's the thing. You're looking at exactly one aspect of the game...batting. Jake Brown is far and away the best option all around for RF.

LSU baseball was not good in the 90s because of Tops. The 1998-1999 school year was the first year of Tops scholarships. The program was passed by the legislature in 1997.

LSU was good in the 1990s because of Skip Bertman.

I’ve had the luxury of sitting a row below Musso since the old box. He knows baseball.

Not far and away, he and Larson are pretty comparable to me, plus he may have the worst glove of the three(Brown, Larson, and Pearson), though none of them are bad fielders; Brown does have the best arm of the three.

As poorly as the offense has performed, I need the guy that can move the freaking runners. Who are you taking out of the line-up when the Aggies toss 3 lefties? Stanfield?
Frey, aka Big Easy, has been your best hitter and is a good outfielder and he can’t get in.
