Etling missed Wide open wr's several times. All he knows is deep ball and primary. He just won't be patient and look to #2. TBH we should have won that game by 7 or more. But time to move on to Arky. This is their super bowl. Lsu is a win that could save coach BB's job. we will see a spirited team sat.

Nope, I watched the Ark-UF game in 2009 and the Patrick Peterson interception LSU-Bama game. A two loss team is not going to beat an unbeaten team in the SEC. It aint gonna happen.

I'm not crying about anything. I am smart enough to realize that if needed, the refs would have become heavily involved in the game, just like the above gif.

Weren't most of ours false starts? You can dismiss those in your imbalance calculations. Easy, obvious calls.

Read my whole post. It does not matter the nature of the penalty it should be called on both teams when it occurs. I will agree the game was a little better officiated than some in recent memory, but when on two occasions there were clear personal fouls not called that is extremely problematic. Remember last year when BAMA was finally getting called for a personal foul then out of nowhere here comes an offsetting personal foul penalty that no one could determine a reason.

How about the Vadal Alexander fiasco in 2014 which was virtually the only way BAMA could have survived that late fumble.

Alabama may be the elephants but many of us have a damn long memory of getting screwed over by officials in this series.

Good grief,Bud. Go to your break room and get a Coke.

Sure, there were some missed holds on Key,for sure. But I'm sure we had some that weren't called.

They were ripe and we couldn't do it.

Lets whip Arkansas.

1. You have WAY too much time on your hands
2. Did you do the same analysis for OUR offensive line?

This entire nonsensical game of "the refs don't call penalties on our opponent" swings both ways. I'm sure if you did the analysis, you'd find a truckload of similar non-calls against our O line.

Blaming the refs is for losers.

Did you play football ? Most of that is fine. We sound like poor losers. We got beat by a better team. We were never close to being in control of the game. They could have scored again at the end to make it look worse .....some classiness that they didn't.

Right, I get that. But you rarely see pre-snap penalties egregiously missed. Those are much less subjective. Live action flags are where all the arguments come from, and LSU only had 1 or 2 to Bama's 1. That's an evenly called game, and one where the refs let both teams play physical football. I'm fine with that. We should all be fine with that.

As opposed to what? I don't agree with OP but I'm pretty sure we don't have multiple shootings after we have lost games.

What about the passing interferences. Especially the one in the end zone that they replayed like 3 times. They beat Bama up good so feel good about that

The refs weren't terribly flag happy and for the most part they let the players HOLD. I'm ok with that.

I am not happy with it, if it is the rule, throw the flag.

I know LSU got away with one, and would take that call as well if they were calling all penalties on both teams

Dude get a life. You cant make calls based on still shots. Obviously a lot of yall have never played ball, much less oline or dline on the college level.

EVERY ONE of them where the Olinemen has the hook around the delinemen or is off to the side with one arm on him is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY A HOLD.

A hook or grabbing/licking an arm is a blatant hold.

The annual whine fest begins, do you ever give anyone credit for beating you. There were three flags picked up all favored LSU. A bad missed call that cost Bama 4 points and we took a knee at your three yard line. You were beaten by a better team. You played a good game and at times pushed us around but we took your best shot and still won. You are the best we have played this year. This year we are better.

Correct. And that’s only a few of them. Like I said—some of them were holding, most of them were not.

Hurts would have struggled to connect too without the allowable holding privilege that Bama gets....many of their “BIG” plays were on 3rd and long passing downs were Hurts had seemingly unlimited time to wait for a receiver to get open....

Even Etling could have spotted someone open with that amount of time....although there were times when he did have time....
