Herbie has circled UCLA as his surprise team this year. He said last week they can be really really good so this should come as no surprise.

No. I'm laughing at a guy trying to come at me and being wrong. You've been trying it a bit lately too. It's pretty funny.

I like the hires on offense, but the defensive coordinator hire had me scratching my head, at the time. Since then, it appears to be a solid hire imo. UCLA has improved, but I’m taking LSU tonight.

After the debacle that was last season, I certainly understand why many have serious doubts about LSU football. I have my doubts also. Was last year an aberration? I guess that question, at least for me, will be answered somewhat today.

No one else lost as much as we did and had a completely new staff to go along with a completely new team. Look at the results. The teams with the most continuity from 2019-20 had the best seasons. Covid made returning starters and continuity with the staff many times more important than it usually is because they had no offseason at all to gel.

I predicted a UCLA win, but more and more I'm getting the feeling that LSU will whip some arse today.

I’m saying that based on Herbie saying LSU will lose tonight, and Orgeron will lose the team. That’s not what I believe, but that’s exactly what he said.

I don’t disagree.

I’m just saying you don’t get to go 6-6 and then complain about the perception. It is what it is.

LSU now has to re-establish itself among the elite.

There are lots of reasons for last year that point to piss poor leadership quite frankly. That’s why I’m not interested in excuses either.

Let’s get it done or go get someone who can.

Lots of unknowns for LSU tonight makes sense after being able to watch UCLA last week. Let’s see these new coordinators in action

They seem to be putting a lot of stock in UCLA starting 11 seniors on defense and 6 on offense

I just don’t think UCLA will hold up to our size and speed.

4 out of 7 CBS expert picks are for UCLA to win straight up. Now I'm an LSU homer, and picking the Tigers to win, but it's hard to be optimistic about tonight's game when so much negativity abounds.

And, I discount the notion that it's a road game will work against LSU tonight.

Any national pundits picked LSU yet?

All the podcasts I listen to are on UCLA- Action network, SGP, etc

Anyone listen to Moscona yest. and hear Phil Steeles pick?

LSU lost all 85 scholarship players after 2019. No other team in the nation lost more than 4.
