Hearing Tua may not play against LSU also

The mood among Alabama fans has definitely changed in the last 24 hours in terms of if Tua will play against LSU. I'm hearing this weekend's game against Arkansas is going to be a telling sign if Tua returns. If their backup plays well and is able to manage the game and throw those short slants that is difficult to defend and those speedy WRs are able to turn into big plays like they have all year, there's a good chance Tua will not play. I'm hearing if Alabama is ultra conservative and allows its run game to win the game that Tua will most likely play against LSU, but will not start.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds for many reasons. First, Tua is soon going to be a very wealthy young man. I think everybody knows Tua will be a high draft pick in the upcoming draft and putting him in at less than 100 percent against the fastest defense he will face all year is very risky and could be very damaging financially speaking. I'm interested to know how much say Tua's family (and his financial advisors) will have in the decision if he plays or not.
Secondly, Alabama's offensive line has been less than stellar this year. If LSU plays up to its potential, Tua is very likely going to be sacked a couple of times and hit a number of times during routine passing plays. Do you risk Tua's health for a win and risk losing him for the rest of the season?
Thirdly, I think Tua may be kept out of the game because, even though they may lose a close game to LSU, they feel they can run the table the rest of the season with convincing wins that the playoff committee will have no choice but to put them in. I know a lot of people say that will never happen, but remember it's Saban and Alabama and it has happened before.
The next couple of weeks are going to be interesting because Alabama isn't going to show their hand either way, which means we will most likely not find out until they take the field. It's safe to say, it's going to be a nerve-wracking couple of weeks for both Alabama and LSU fans!

You must be hearing voices in your head, because all of this is your own rationalization for reasons he may play or may not play. But it’s obvious form your statements you are hearing it from any people of interest.

Big leap of faith to take this post at face value and it's all because you are hearing things.

The financial suppliers for Tua and his family will have the most say.

I think the IQ of our fan base has dropped 500% in the last 5 years.
Clowns to the left, Jokers to the right.

Maybe that's what they want you to think. Also, we are playing Auburn this week.

Pretty good young backup if his rating is true. With their talent they are still capable of winning. I worry about this Saturday. AU almost broke the streak a few years ago and let it slip away. They feel robbed from last year. And when u matchup both Lines of scrimmage I definitely have concerns. Aranda must force nix to beat us with his arm.

Tua had surgery to rush him to be ready to play against LSU.
Saban knows that he has got to have his best players to beat us. Tua is going to play unless and until he gets hurt again.

I'm hearing from my sources that Saban will not be coaching that week either... so that when LSU beats the Gumps, the playoff committee will have to give them a mulligan 2.0
No link... it was a phone call. Just trust me brah.

Anyone who thinks Tua isn’t playing against us is just setting themselves up for disappointment.

I'm not reading anything more than the thread title. We are playing Auburn this weekend. After we celebrate that win, we can focus on Bama. Until then, Bama doesn't matter. These posts on Tua's condition and whether he will play or not play have gone beyond ridiculous.

Tua tries to play. He lasts less than a quarter. Tigers smack bama, then Auburn smacks bama. Saban retires. Dynasty gone. It happens. Green Bay, Dallas, bama

If Tua is indeed out, the REC will step it up to make sure that Bama doesn't lose. That said, let's not worry about the Gumps until after we dispose of Auburn. If what we've seen so far this season from Aranda holds true, then he will not be overly aggressive on defense in the first half. He's been great at making adjustments, but we don't want a repeat of Trask's performance on Saturday.
