Media members picking a team to win because of home field advantage.... o the horror.

Yes LSU has had success in Bama but geez when looking at a game of teams that will likely be pretty equal, home field is definitely not a bad reason to pick one team over the other.

Oh no, that’s highly unethical of them!

Bama is an extremely successful program over the last nearly 2 decades.

Anyone picking them to beat LSU is not crazy. That game could go either way.

I think LSU is the better team, but it’s week -2

Alabama is the standard. Until they aren’t, media will pick them. It’s an easy pick. Don’t be bothered by it.

Why would any fan of college football want less of an LSU /Alabama football game? Give me six hours more of it. Give me that every weekend and every weekday of the year.

I mean it's not like Bama winning at home is an absurd pick.

Playing at Bryant Denny is not really that big of a deal.
Lots of teams have played them close and beat them there.

Since 2000

LSU @ Alabama: 6-5
Alabama @ LSU: 5-7

Don't we have a better record in Tuscaloosa than in BR against Bama? Being on the road is actually better in that regard.

I believe LSU is 9-10 in Bryant-Denny Stadium, with a chance to tie up the record this season.

LSU also has the chance to tie up the all-time series record with Missouri this season as well.

The Tigers can also take the lead in the series with Florida after having lost it in 1992.

In close pick'em games LSU almost always gets the nod when they are playing at home. General rule in a close game pick the home team, this isn't new.

Are you surprised that the media is picking Bama (who has dominated LSU for the past decade) to beat LSU in part because they are playing at home? Holy shite some of y’all are incredible.

My hot take for this season is that Bama will lose at least 4 games. Bryce Young covered a lot of flaws in that program the last two years.

It will probably be our toughest game of the year....against a team that has owned us

3-5 since Saban has been there...and two of those LSU teams that won were National Champions.

Despite the OPs assertion, winning in Tuscaloosa is tough. It's not impossible. But, LSU won't have a GREAT team this year most likely. I think LSU and Bama will be very similar.
