We stopped in at Ponchatoula's.
Fried Green Tomatoes were delicious.
Stuffed Fried Catfish was ok. It was two fried catfish fillets with this crawfish stuffing between them, then covered in crawfish etouffee. The stuffing felt like wet batter that didn't fry in the fryer. The etouffee was decent.
Fried onion rings were on point!
Thanks for the recommendations.
He’s not taking Gonzales recruit with him. If there happens to be an opening on roster it’s a possibility. But as of now she’s staying in Hammond.
We have some amazing pitchers in state that continue to leave and go out of state. And I’m not talking about JUCO’s either. There’s an issue here if they continue to leave. A few leave to get away from home but most would love to play at LSU and have family watch every game. Beth constantly follows the same travel ball national teams and can’t coach them up. These athletes should be getting better under a college staff not regressing. I love what Coach Rick has been doing in Hammond with a lot of local talent. That’s coaching!

Thanks for the info. Will update after trip. Gonna hit at least two of them!
I have to agree. I love listening to Ben.
Pizza Palace
It’s a drive up pizza place and still old school board to order from and cash only. The spaghetti with homemade meatballs is to die for. The pizza is hand tossed and delicious. If you bringing kids, they have to see this place.

Congrats man on marking a new species off the list. I absolutely love north Arkansas for fishing and hiking. The scenery is unbelievable.

Places to Eat in Ruston

I am going to Ruston this weekend for a birthday party. Looking for a local restaurant to eat at. Not looking for a national chain restaurant and type of food doesn’t matter. Can be seafood or Italian or whatever. I just like to find mom and pop restaurants to support when I travel.
You sound like a customer that does not tip, drinks water but wants lemon, and complains his steak is too rare. Oh, and it is always someone's birthday so you get free ice cream.
We get a night off of cooking because future in law said he wants to cook us dinner. He said steak and scallop pasta. I have my doubts about this meal honestly. Will post in the update tomorrow.

How is that Makers Wood 2023? I have a 2022 in my cabinet but didn’t crack it yet.
Performance on Airline in Gonzales.
Matherne's in Paulina carries it.
StrongSafely: I just have to laugh at your comments some times.
I was replying about the post saying what about her husband. I was just letting you know that the husband is dead so he didn’t post it.
Her husband passed away years ago. She didn’t make this comment. She was hacked.
Looks like it slept with a red fish lol

Hardly any of the flowers you get from florists are USA. Most of the flowers are from South America.
?? factors off the field and how you treat teammates. That’s why Williams will be voted MVP.

I’m excited for Doyle. They finally got it done! Not sure how Savant doesn’t get district MVP. But Williams at Springfield had an amazing year!
