Is Jimbo elite?

Jimbo is a successful recruiter and definitely has more schematic acumen than Miles. Hence, he is closer to being elite than our current stagnating dunderhead and would represent an upgrade.

and game day adjustments.

Keep seeing this, trying to figure out how Les has a bunch of come from behind wins if he don't make adjustments. And no you can't sit here and say they just out talented teams like bama.

If the coaching was so good why would he be behind to so many teams we have more talent than?

He loses to inferior opponents every year except for 1.

As far as recruiting goes, FSU is the Bama of the ACC. They out recruit everyone in that conference.

He has racked up some bad losses and FSU now.

Why do his team's fall behind so much?

Dude.

That's not the argument I'm making.

There are actual things to criticize, then there is all the bullshite.

Saying he makes no adjustments is a flat out fricking lie.

Saying all he runs is I formation is a flat out lie.

Saying the offense has been the same under every oc is a flat out lie.

Saying he goes for seniority over the more talented player has been proven wrong again and again and again.

All I said was, he makes adjustments.

Plus, recruiting rankings do correlate to the final rankings usually. But it doesn't tell the whole story.

There are 10-15 teams with equal talent any given year. Some more talented at other positions than others. Injuries, transfers, suspensions, they all affect those rankings any given Saturday.

What does that have to do with adjustments?

Miles' pay now greatly out paces his coaching ability. If he was hired by another school tomorrow he would NOT be valued at $4.3 m.

This is the best summation of how retarded some people on here are. When anyone goes on a rant bashing using any of the above criticisms, it is an easy indicator that they have very little football iq.

Pssh, please. We finished in the top 16 4 out of the last 5 years! That's progress, baby.

Simply put, do you think that Les Miles is coaching the team well right now?

After Wisconsin game I would definitely say an easy No. But since, we have seen adjustments across the board and the team is playing better. So I'm slightly optimistic for that to continue and I think Miles is doing a good job SINCE WISCONSIN.

It's really indisputable.

If his recruiting rankings are anywhere close to true, then Miles has completely shite the bed as a coach.

This is far from true. On this year's team we have the following contributors from out of state:

Danny Etling
Ethan Pocic
Greg Gilmore
Herron (would list LaCouture but he's injured)
Bower
Dodd
Lewis Neal
Jamal Adams
Ed Paris
John Battle
Colin Jeter
Travonte Valentine
Toliver
Maea Teuhema
Arden Key
Toby Weathersby

And this doesn't include freshmen or specialists. Good luck replacing them with local kids and trying to win SEC games.

He has lacked elite recruiting in the trenches for most of his tenure. That is where I think he has failed the most. You can have all the skill players in the world but if you can't protect the quarterback or you can't get after their quarterback, your qb doesn't have any time to throw competent passes and your corners and safeties will struggle.

listing a few out of state players does NOT prove his statement wrong...and any expert on talent will disagree with you

Dan Patrick is not a very interesting or entertaining person. I've never really understood his success.

No they won't. I follow recruiting closely. Louisiana lacks elite QB's, Linebackers, Offensive Lineman historically. There are plenty of elite skill players to be had.
