DP has some weird, implicit dislike for LSU, but he is dead on here and I am really glad he said it. We need more notable people saying it.

WTF! It caught up to him years ago. LSU's wins these days can be attributed to talent overcoming Les. I cant stand it but that's the truth! and has been basically for 5 years now.

No he isnt. He is media guy with zero qualifications giving an opinion. His opinion is no more valid than anyone on this site. He has never coached or played football at any meaningful level. To act like his opinion is valid just shows bias. Miles may bot be a good coach but Dan Patrick isnt in any position to gauge that.

Why? What he's saying is the absolute truth. The knock against LSU has never been recruiting or talent; its coaching. Over the years,Miles has proven that he can go toe to toe with the best when it comes to recruiting. His weakness is developing the talent once he gets the kids on campus.

The 2012 draft means nothing to the last 3 years. The 2012 draft class won a title. The 2012 recruiting class was 18th. In just the last 2 years we had top 5 classes.
Its amazing how lsu fans act like lau is above top 15 finishes.
From 1973- until miles was hired WE HAD 8 top 15 finishes. But yeah top 15 finishes are wasted years. Its not wite level but it sure the frick isnt wasted.

Yeah, Dan Patrick doesn't know sports at all...just been covering them in detail for over thirty years. You don't need experience as a coach to notice glaring sub-par coaching.

Please enlighten us on how your unacceptance of our level of success has changed a god damn thing.
Just because someone doesnt shite on the staff in every thread doesnt mean we are settling. It means we know shitting on our own accomplishments is not the sign of unacceptance.
