Two words, Joe Burrow. Get LSU a top QB and with our athletes, the result will be similar. The defense wasn't ever great that year like it has been in the past.

Listed at 6’6” and 280#. Looks solid without a guy. Probably a lot easier for him to gain 30-40 pounds in two years, than it is for someone like Kardell Thomas to lose 40 pounds in two years.
This seems like a Mid-West (ND/Nebraska/Wisconsin/Iowa) OT philosophy. Take the 6’6” kid at 270 or 280 with a good frame and add mass. He will be 300+ by his redshirt sophomore year and 315 plus by the time he plays his final game as a Tiger. It’s a better philosophy than trying to get a 6’3” OL at 350-360# out of HS, and trying to get them to lose 40-50#s.
Brandon Winey would be a good example of an OT who grew into his frame by his JR year.
