All I give a shite about is supporting a solid team to victory. As long as we get that I’m happy.

They need to build a highway system out of Tiger stadium before they do anything.

You ever take a good look at the fans?

We’ve got a box full of uglies. Obesity is rampant.

And don’t get me started on the epidemic of gingers. Most camera shots feature nasty arse gingers and their population in the stands seems to be growing. Either gingers love baseball or they breed at higher rates. Totally disgusting.

Maybe we can all agree that it’s best to just focus on the game on the field.

What have they done in the last 15 years to improve the fan experience?
1) Greatly improved the data and video on the main scoreboard, including pitch velo, game stats, # of pitches by the current pitchers, video instant replay of plays and a description of what the batter coming to bat has done in the current game.
2) Added a second scoreboard with both current lineups shown throughout the game.
3) Added several specialty concession vendors on the main concourse and the left and right field concession areas.
4) Added beer sales for all ticket holders not just the Champions Club.
5) Improved the sound system in the grandstand.
6) Added HD TVs near all concession stands so fans standing in line waiting for their food can watch the game live.
7) Removed the cell phone dead spots in the grandstand.
8) Added special table seating at the top rail in the grandstand concourse.
9) Almost doubled the size of the main scoreboard's video portion which enhanced the visibility of the instant replay feature.

CJJ has said that the next improvement is have an indoors infield facility. But does anyone believe that The Box looks cheap? All the recruits / families love The Box And the players on scholarship love playing here. So who is left to worry about pleasing.....those here who whine about everything??Kyle Peterson who has seen practically every "big league park " in the country, has always said The Box is the best environment in the NCAA's.

Can we get Korean Baseball cheerleaders?

Or at least get the Tiger Girls to do that strike out dance they do over there? It’s mesmerizing.

it absolutely was not. Skip built it on the cheap I guess. Baum Stadium in Arkansas is a much nicer stadium overall. I was mad when they first came out with the plans for the new Alex Box. They were pitiful. LSU should have a stadium that rivals the best in the country (SEC). They do not.

All it needs is to extend the awning and chair backs down the lines to the foul poles… outfield bleachers can stay or they could build hotel suites if they really want to go all out

Maybe you're too young to remember that half of the LSU baseball season ticket holders (in the old Box) were screaming bloody murder at the idea of a new stadium.

They wanted Skip to remodel the old Box rather build a new stadium.

It wasn't an easy, or popular, decision to build a whole new stadium relocated away from the original stadium site. Skip received a lot of hate mail for moving the Box.

I had season tickets in the grandstand of the old Box and when I walked into the new Box for the first time, I felt like I was walking into a triple A stadium. I was ecstatic. I went to see Skip a few weeks later just to thank him for the new facility. He told me I was the first fan to thank him for building a new stadium. Hard to believe after all Skip meant to our baseball program but that's what he said.
