Would this be a breach of contract on their end?

How can you expel a school for considering taking 2 players after a court order and a coach throwing out “ what if we had nfl players”

That is not lack of institutional control…so no breech of SEC ruling

Not that I can recall. This is unprecedented in my lifetime and I'm older than Sankey.

It very likely would and LSU would sue them for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Thats not what they claim they are threatening expulsion over. It's this:

Defendants waged a deliberate and coordinated campaign to recruit professional athletes to play football for LSU during the 2026-27 season

and Stinky could not tell a judge what a professional player was.

Sankey better be damn sure there is no evidence Nate Oats reached out to Charles Bediako about returning mid season to play for the Tide when he realized he had no capable post player on the roster.

And Sankey couldn't define what that is under oath, correct?

I can’t believe this is real. This class of players sued for eligibility regardless of school. They got a TRO and multiple schools recruited them. It’s a product of today’s times, but to threaten to kick LSU out over something the players were already seeking and got a court order for is beyond insane to me.

Schools have actually done terrible things and never once got such threats.

What the ever living crap is going here?

So Mr. Johnny Come Lately Sankey thinks he can come to work in the SEC and kick out a founding band member? No Kings!

correct.

He also admitted he never read the 5x5 rule, had no idea that Baton Rouge is a city outside of Alabama, and forgot what he ate for breakfast that morning.

Let's assume we did this. Let's assume we even admit it.

Is THAT something you start a "deliberate and coordinated campaign" over to kick us out of the conference?

Insanity.

Can LSU bring that up should it apply to the line of questioning or whatever?

Did not Ole Miss reach out to one of the players?

It should not matter. The players of this class were fighting for this. Other schools recruited them. Alabama rostered a pro player and played him in games.

How is this real life?
