Deuce seems to be the one getting the praise from Kiffin so far. The future is very bright on our DL.

Think both have had their moments. Heard a bunch about Anderson early on and a bunch about Duece lately. Think both have shown they will get a bunch of PT. They are different types of players though. Deuce more of a quicker style and Anderson more of a beef strong guy although Duece is strong too. If they both keep working and develop they could be Hell on wheels playing next to each other the next few years. Not to mention throwing Brown into the mix too. Who knows he may be the best of them all.

I’ll just say this. Anderson is an absolute unit and will blow up double teams and will wreak havoc in the middle. Gerald’s is a freak athlete along with freakish strength and can beat you in many different ways. And he never gives up. Geralds has a level of energy and determination that is unmatched right now.

Geralds will be the best of the 3 we signed

Different players and skill sets. When Anderson sheds a little more weight and gets in better condition he’s going to be a problem.

I’ve got Dom McKinley as DT5 right now. Shame. But at least LSU has other options.

They are two different type of DTs, Both of them complement eachother perfectly on the DL. Throw in Lamar Brown & we have a unit

They will fill different roles. Anderson will largely be called on to handle double teams that will allow a smaller, quicker DT like Geralds to shine.

They may be studs, but if we’re starting two true freshman on the DL, yikes

Green started at Clemson, Blocton started at Auburn, McKinley started at LSU last year… all good defenses

I think these freshmen may just be the real deal

DT is a rotational position. The reps will mostly be split between 4-5 different players.

They aren't typical freshmen. We signed the best DL class we've had for years. They still have some learning to do but they are studs

Both are early enrollees who could still be in high school. Not sure if one is outperforming the other, but just want both to keep getting better and stay healthy.

I know that DT is vastly different than OT, but I believe the level of difficulty for true freshmen to play either one is comparable. I say this because Emery Jones and Will Campbell both started and excelled as freshmen OTs. This gives me hope that the same could be true for our current freshmen defensive tackles.

I learned a long time ago to temper back my reactions or expectations from spring camp talk and hype. Anyone remember the name EJ Kuale? He was a spring camp hero and hardly ever saw the field.

Deuce looks at practice and the S&C requirements as the bare minimum. He works his arse off outside of practice and when nobody is watching as LK noticed on his jog with Deuce pushing sled by himself.

People with that level of talent and drive tend to become elite.
