Yawn.

We heard every year that JJ looked "awesome" at this camp.

Panic early and avoid the September rush.

Harris isn't tipping his hand especially with Gumps in attendance. Secret playbook!

Has nothing to do with it being secretive. There was a thread about this on tSECr yesterday.

As I said then, of course he didn't take this "competition" seriously. It wasn't serious. They were throwing footballs at moving Papa John's billboards for chrissake.

I'd put even less stock into this than I would analyses of spring game performances.

Golf carts are slower than our receivers so it threw his timing off

How many times have we heard from Geroge Whitfield how great a certain QB looks in the offseason only to see him struggle during the season.

Yeah I'd like to see positive reports about him but these camps mean nothing.

Our elite receivers are better than golf carts

Why wouldn't he take this serious? Are you saying that he just blew this off? That he really wasn't trying? You obviously know nothing about being competitive.

No doubt he was trying. He just wasn't accurate according to people that were there. Hopefully this will improve before fall.

I think I could hit golf cart better than a person with a football.

It's only 3 times the space area to throw at.,, but hey. Whatever makes y'all feel better about the qb position.

I wonder if the people concerned with this "news" wake up every morning ready to hate the world and find something new to cry about.

IDGAF what B. Harris did at the Manning camp

Brandon Harris is sometimes inconsistent with accuracy, but that's not his main problem. As Harris, or any QB, becomes more comfortable in an offense his decision making will speed up. This allows time to execute the physical fundamentals of throwing the ball. This will improve his accuracy and results.

Now, when you're missing golf carts and undefended receivers you have an innate problem that won't be coached or practiced away. That's just something we'll have to live with. And don't believe for a minute that his inaccuracy at the camp is because he's not taking it seriously. That's silly. What human would not want to impress the most respected members of his profession when performing right in front of them?

Because he had the opportunity to do something that matters and improve his game (by working with the Mannings).

You notice that the part that actually mattered (working with the Mannings) was blocked out to the media? That's because no good comes from nit-picking clinics in which players are trying to hone their craft.

The part that WAS open was the equivalent of a hokey carnival game. You know who did REALLY well at the carnival game not long ago? Jordan Jefferson.

But go ahead and continue to use this as an accurate measure of QB development.

Yeah billboards are probably pretty hard to hit...especially if they're moving. You'd think they'd use something easier for a target.

Part of the "reports" from the Air it Out competition was that Harris seemed like he was "being lazy" and he "wasn't taking it seriously."

So, yeah. That's exactly what I'm saying.

No news here. Hopefully, Harris can improve slightly & get close to 58-60% completion percentage.

I really could care less how Brandon Harris looks throwing to golf carts and high school kids as long as he shows up on Saturdays starting in Sept., nothing else matters.

Obligatory so you could care less?
