a very below average season and career at LSU.
Harold Perkins may have been out of position and taken bad angles, probably single handedly cost us the Vanderbilt game, but let’s not act like he was a below average player.

Played great against arky, w UK, and ou, when our season had 0 reason to bust his arse. That post was spot on. Our fans suck

Dude had 3 bad games without whit on the field, and solid one against scar without him. Great tiger and kept playing hard

Go watch the Vanderbilt and A&M game again brother and then come back and tell me if Perkins really is a huge positive on the team. I wish him well but he played lazy more often than not.

Perkins on this team is a huge positive.

A huge positive? Eh, not sure about that. People who say he sucked and was always terrible are just as wrong as those who talk about him like he was a generational talent who we couldn't do without. I think he could have been a superstar, but he never was and I don't think he was ever going to be.

I can't wait to see what they do with him in the NFL. Never could put my finger on what position he needed to be playing.

He had his one blow out game a year agaisnt Arkansas, which was great for reminiscing, but overall a very below average season and career at LSU.

He had a phenomenal freshman year beginning with the huge impact he had in the Mississippi State win, was awarded SEC Freshman of the Week honors against Ole Miss and then followed that up with back-to-back SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors in the Bama and Arkansas wins. Though he led us in tackles for loss his sophomore year, he never matched the incredible freshman year, but he did finish strong here these last few games after coming back from the big injury last year.

Though inconsistent and things felt like a let down considering how phenomenal he started, he still definitely had better than a below average career. He's probably is in the top 10 all-time for tackles for loss at LSU.

He is one of the most productive defensive players to ever wear purple and gold.

His first year performance against Arky was one of the most dominating performances I’ve ever seen. Honey Badgeresque.

His time here could be described as inconsistent. Spurts of greatness with games of tape with head scratching loafs.

It will be interesting to see how NFL teams evaluate him. I have a feeling he'll get a 4-6 round grade. No true position, questionable tape.

In your opinion could anyone on the bench have stepped in for Perkins without significantly impacting the defense?

Think he will be a better NFL player depending what team he ends up on.

I'm guessing his testing numbers (40, agility drills, etc) will be impressive. It will be interesting to see how his future NFL team employs him.

On that note, do we think he gets drafted before or after Nuss?

How about playing his arse off a whole season. Just trying to impress NFL scouts at the end.
