I am.
I like Wade and I am glad he’s getting an oppertunity he deserves.
I think he got a raw deal considering how all this started.
I had to take a step back and remind myself I dont hate wade I hate the nonstop posts acting like he realistically could have been retained.

his second year when he won the sec. Yes he was annihilating teams
We beat one SEC team by 21. The rest were mostly competitive games. Many were very close. If he had said we won a lot of games then sure. He wasn’t annihilating teams. Words have meaning. Go review the schedule from that year and the others. We won games. We didn’t annihilate people. That’s just trying to change history.

Who tf cares this is irrelevant because we won a shite ton of games. McMahon on the other hand has lost the majority of his SEC games by double digits.

Tournament wins for McNeese and LSU the last three years:
McNeese: 1
LSU: 0

McNeese: 1
LSU: 0

It’s funny how hurt yall get when no one even talks negative about the guy. All one has to do is make one correction about him not annihilating teams and you can’t take it. Maybe I’m not the one who needs a hotline.

Pretty sure you don’t have to annihilate teams to be a good coach. All you have to do is win. And we currently don’t have that under McMan and we did under Wade. Simple as that really and a historic blunder to end up where we are now.

Who said you did? I agree with you. That’s why it’s interesting to see people getting so upset over the fact that we weren’t annihilating teams.

First ever NCAA win for McNeese. Dude is incredible. And he still has tons of years ahead of him due to his age. May be the biggest blunder in LSU sports history letting him go and Scott Woodward owns it.
Did it with the distraction of him getting hired by a P4 school during the prep too. The dude is such a good motivator, he straight up told his team what was happening and they still went out there completely focused to win a tournament game

Yep - me too. The hypocrisy of it all will always bother me - cause I really enjoyed his time here. But Can't go back in time so I wish him well.

he deserved better from LSU.
You say this like the situation leading to his firing wasnt 150% his own fault
The cognitive dissonance is staggering.

Lsu doesn't care about men's bb. If they did, they would use all the imaginary NIL money to fire McHallman. They would hire a coach who can do more with less, not a coach who does less with more.
I am happy for Wade who is going to a program that cares about bb. A program that has a championship history who will do what it takes to be great at men's bb. Wade will have an abundance of resources and commitment. He will have a much better chance to win a championship there than he would've had at LSU.

No doubt. His players have total respect for him and would run through a brick wall for him. He's just a fun and authentic head coach to play for and you see it on their sideline.
