Again, I urge you to continue to believe that if it makes you feel better.
On planet earth, we have things we call regular customers. Some REPEATEDLY STIFF the wait staff and/or delivery driver. That's how you knew in advance that they were non tippers.
TRUST ME they were dealt with appropriately.
When I delivered for Pizza Hut years ago, we had a small delivery area, and regular customers. 75% of the time we knew (when looking at the delivery screen), that's a $5, that's a $3, that's a motherflucking stiff.
Also, anyone who acted like a complete arse and dressed down the waiter while complaining recieved some special sauce.
HOW IN THE FLUCK can you tell me what did or didn't go on in the restaurants WHERE I WORKED?????
Most people aren't going to react well to mistreatment, whether it's perceived or legitimate. As a customer in a restaurant, you best be aware of that.

I've had a couple of friends here in Houston area who are Ole Miss grads who won't even speak to me since we hired Kiffin. I told them that I didn't hire Kiffin (but I support his hiring 100%), so they should vent at someone else. I've decided that if that's the way act now over a game, then there's no need for me to continue to stay friends with them.

LSU is a land, sea, and air grant institution with a vet school, law school, and two medical schools. It has an endowment of over $1 billion, an average ACT score of 26-27, and the average high school GPA to enter is above 3.0. So, there's that.
